"You so beautiful mama."
In return to those words, the infant had revealed a toothless smile as if she could understand the words that were being said to her. The young man smiled back before planting a soft kiss amongst her nose. A giggle escaped from her lips as her small hands reached for his face.
Gently, he placed her down on the changing bed in the nursery and reaches into one of the drawers on the changing bed.
His eyes scanned the nicely decorated nursery. The interior was all white with soft nude and pink tones. The bedroom walls had white molding and black and white portraits that were framed hung on the wall. The different portraits were of the infant and maternity photos of the parents that went with the theme of the nursery.
Even as well as lighting fixtures were mounted onto the walls with gold accent. There was a gold metal 3D backlight sign of the infant's first and middle name that hung on the wall.
A white couch with decorative pillows was against the wall on one side of the room. While the changing station happened to be on the opposite side. The Delta Children crib was positioned in the middle of the nursery. The Second Story Home Milan Bassinet was in the corner.
The room had been perfectly curated for the infant baby girl.
As he looked down at the infant who laid their fondling with the gold plated ID bracelet. The words on the jewelry read; Selah Denise Banks in cursive scripture. The bracelet had been apart of her every since she was two months.
The prettiest pair of diamond earrings complimented her dark brown eyes. A head full of hair that happened to be the shade of jet black and was silky as could be.
She had some of the prettiest dark skin. A set of full heart shaped lips and a cute button nose. She looked exactly like her father.
Damion could honestly say the little girl had stolen his heart just like her mother did. He felt so much love from his daughter. She was teaching him how to be more soft and gentle.
As he picked up the infant and kissed her lips she smiled caressing his face. She was now fully dressed in bedtime clothing.
"Let's go get us some food mama." He says while gently placing a kiss on her forehead. He shuts the lights off and walks out the nursery with her in his arms.
As he walked down the halls of his home he could smell the rich and textural, wrapped with smoky oud wood and spiked with clove, decadent with praline. bringing the smell of intensity and depth to their home.
The Velvet Rose & Oud diffuser by Jo Malone happened to sit in the living room of their home. A smell that's wasn't too masculine or feminine something that the two both could compromise on.
As he walked into the kitchen he was met with the black marble counter top. The entirety of the home was lovely. From the furniture to the decor. A few portraits of the family were included in black and white throughout the home.
Slowly, he tries to place Selah in the high chair but her soft whines was just enough to encourage him otherwise.
Damion knew she wasn't going for that shit. At least he tried.
"How you want me to fix your food and hold you at the same time lil guh?" He questions as she just stares at him blankly.
It wasn't like it wasn't something he never did before.
As he began fixing their food she watched him carefully. Damion had decided to cook beef stew that included potatoes which was served over rice and a side of corn.
