"We pulling up. I'm in a white Audi truck?"
"No, I don't Emory... wait now I do."
"There she go right there." Emory announces before hanging up his phone and throwing it on his lap.
Damion pulls his truck and places it into park near the curb where the woman stood. Savannah. She happened to be awaiting them after asking to pick her up from the airport.
Savannah had called asking Emory to pick her up from the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport. Emory so happened to be with Damion at the time she called. They had been back from South Carolina about two days now.
The two young men both emerged from the truck to help Savannah with her baggage. Damion's eyes fell on the expensive suitcase. He recognized it as Rimowa. He happened to be familiar with the luxury luggage because of him buying Celeste and himself one.
Savannah's included the luggage tag with her initials were embroidered on.
He looked towards her seeing her dressed in something that would be considered lounge wear. Her face was blemish free and absent of makeup. The extensions she wore were straighten. She was naturally beautiful.
She looked nice in his opinion.
He could tell she was exhausted from her flight. It shown in her body language. Damion paid attention to those around him.
"What's up." Damion greets her as he grabs her suitcase and places it into his trunk while Emory grabs the rest of her belongings.
"Hey, what's up." She says as she gives him a small smile.
The two were familiar with one another but this was the most they ever said to each other. Even when they attended the same school they never said two words to each other especially being that Simone happened to be a grade under Damion.
"You be having all this unnecessary ass shit for no reason." Emory says as he puts the last of her luggage into the truck.
Savannah mugged him. The two happened to be very close. She was close with Elijah as well but her and Emory were closer. The two were like brother and sister.
The three had all made their way inside of the truck and not to long after Damion was pulling off and away from the airport.
"I ain't never meet nobody who use the Baton Rouge airport." Emory states as Damion chuckles while shaking his head.
"This was my first and last time." Savannah says as she looks down at her phone. "Thank y'all for coming get me. I called Elijah but he didn't answer."
Damion didn't mind picking up Savannah. He happened to be doing it off the strength of Elijah and Emory, honestly. He knew they wouldn't hesitate to do the same.
"He probably with his bullshit ass baby mama." Emory says as he shook his head.
Savannah didn't say anything in return she rolled her eyes. The dislike she had for Tam was because of her disrespect towards Simone and the false accusations. If you knew Savannah then you knew she didn't do drama and that's exactly what Tam was trying to create unnecessary drama.
She spared on her many occasions for the sake of Elijah. He would suffer the consequences.
"You still stay in the same spot?" Damion asks as he merges onto the interstate.
"Yes..." She replies.
Damion nods.
