A calm morning.

The apogee of serenity.

A gold standard of peace.

It's as if I'm in suspension, going through the m-

"Sup, Ayanokouji."

I take it back.

"What is it, Ryuuen?" I asked as I turned and looked at his grinning expression.

From ear to ear, that smile that looked to break the morning which was ever so peaceful was in front of me.

"Whoever had a hand in making Ichinose this new way really has made my life difficult," Ryuuen sighed.

Is he here to complain? If he is, it simply means he believes I had a part in it. Whether it be a mere hunch or something backed with deductions and evidence is something I don't know.

"I guess so," I told him dismissively.

"They must really want me out of here, you know? Honestly, this person seems like a hassle to deal with. A total loser getting into things they shouldn't. Don't you agree?" Ryuuen asked.

"I suppose they are," I shrugged.

How long is he going to beat around the bush?

Ryuuen dropped that grin and spoke once again.

"Feelings for Ayanokouji, I assume. Lots of insulting during these videos after that video on the cruise ship. After the video where Ayanokouji saved her, she did something she'd never do before. What an interesting turn of events, wouldn't you say?"

A list of his deductions.

"An odd coincidence, I suppose," I replied bluntly.

"Yeah, an odd coincidence. That's all it is, huh? Guess you won't admit it," Ryuuen wryly chuckled.

"What's with this sudden conversation, Ryuuen?" I sighed.

"Nothing, really. Was it boredom? Some weird edibles I had? I've got no idea. Maybe I just wanted to know if you'd admit it," Ryuuen shrugged and grew bored with the conversation.

The students around me all looked at this odd conversation and possessed wary expressions.

It doesn't make sense whatsoever why he's here, but he's not bothering me anymore. What motive did he have? I really doubt it was just an excuse for some weird medicine.

"Well, see ya at the theatre, Ayanokouji," Ryuuen walked past me and disregarded me as a whole.

What a confusing man...

"Are you all ready? Not that I care, let's begin."

Settling into my seat, I looked at the screen.

While Class A and Class C were still in the process of having their Math tests graded for their third event...

The outcome of the fourth event in the battle between Class B and Class D had already been decided.

"After tallying up the results, Class B ended with 601 points, while Class D ended with 409 points. Class B wins the fourth event."

After hearing Mashima announce the results, Ichinose let out a sigh of relief.

"So this is it," Ryuuen stated with a calm expression.

"Holy shit, finally. I was tired of your vague mumbling for so long," Hosen remarked with a grin.

What Ryuuen did to Ichinose was so great that it involves her making a choice that was similar to the one she had to make with Sakayanagi and Nagumo was being would now be shown.
