Ryuuen POV:

I pushed the glass door of the karaoke room and walked in to see Ichinose already there looking completely settled.

"This ain't a test, calm down," I advised and I sat in front of her.

"I'm perfectly calm. I just think being punctual is an admirable trait, don't you think? Well, considering you were 4 hours late last year, I have my answer," she stated with a thin smile.

I smirked at her response and ordered some juice. If all else fails, Ichinose drenched in orange juice before I get expelled would be a nice cherry on top.

"Yeah, yeah. You know, I'm surprised you had the balls to show up alone. No beta male orbiters in tow?"

Ichinose nodded, "I asked my classmates not to show up. I imagine this won't take that long, after all. I don't think there's any words you could say to convince me and change my stance."

This chick really reminds me of that little brat.

"Oh yeah? Well, when you say that, I guess I should pack my bags and leave, huh? Might as well sing a few songs for the road. When the girl who has such ironclad beliefs and has never shown change says something like that, I guess I should follow, right?" I chuckled as I picked up the microphone and handed it to her.

She waved her hand lightly and turned away my gracious offer.

"You're the one who proposed this meeting. So late, too. If I didn't accept, I wonder what would have happened," Ichinose pondered.

"And yet, here you are. Seems like it's all going to plan, isn't it? But if ms Bigshot is so busy, I have to follow, don't I? Can't leave your slaves waiting, after all."

About this confidence, I have to be careful, but I'm not going to let her dogwalk me. Whether it be her, Sakayanagi, Suzune or even that freak. All of them are confident, but so am I.

"I'd quite like that. Please, continue," she stated with a look that looked to be staring into my heart.

Time to bring out everything I had stored.

"When you look at the class transfers, they're pretty cool, ain't they? Just changing class when you pay a shitload of money, it changes everything. Even if the guy is total ass at everything, people are terrified. You shoulda seen the looks Katsuragi got when he joined our class, they were hilarious.  I wonder how many ways they can be used," I began.

Ichinose's eyes narrowed sharply and she looked at me as if she was questioning me.

"Class transfers, huh? That's an interesting angle you're going for. I guess that's why you were with Nagumo-senpai that day, asking for points, I assume?"

She's piecing it all together slowly.

"Yep. You know, that guy sure is rich as hell. If I was him, I'd just take as many points as possible and trade 'em all at the end of the year, but it's his money I guess. The dude's obsessed with the school, but what can you do?"

Ichinose nodded softly, "Yeah, he really has a lot of points. I'd guess in the low hundred million range by now. So, when faced with an expulsion, you have to ask him for points to save yourself. Is that correct?" she theorised.

I shook my head. And as I did, my juice finally came. Took a while, but hey, I have something now if things turn out badly. I don't think I'll have to use it, though.

"Nah, why'd your head lead to a different thing? You went from transfers to expulsions just because of a lot of points. Your mind is too closed off to think of anything other than saving people from expulsion. It's like you're a moth to a flame," I chuckled.
