"The new semester starts today. Hello everyone, I am Lee Hwan, your professor of Management Accounting and I'll be your guide for this semester, hope you'll not have any complaints against me. I can see many new faces here and I would like each one of you to introduce yourself first and I'll take the attendance after that." Professor Lee, as he introduced himself said.
Professor Lee motioned towards a new student he noticed sitting at the front and asked him to start with the introduction.
"Hello, I'm Kim Hyunsik and I'm a transfer student...."
The introduction went on until there was only one person left to introduce himself. The guy sitting at the last bench, near the corner window.
"Young man, will you please introduce yourself?" The professor gestured towards the guy.
"Hello, I'm Jeon Jungkook and I'm from Busan. I'm also a transfer student and I'm a scholar too. I hope we all will get along well." Jungkook introduced himself and sat down with a bow."Well, very nice then. We'll carry on with our attendance now. I hope everyone is present here, atleast I am expecting everyone to be present in the cla-" Professor was interrupted when the door opened with a thud, creating a silence throughout the class.
Everyone diverted their attention towards the male who stood at the door with a lollipop in his mouth, his dark long hair is pushed back in a man bun, few fringes falling on his cheek."Mr. Min Yoongi, this is not your basketball court, I hope you're aware of that?" Professor Lee asked, looking disappointed at the male standing at the door.
"Ofcourse, I'm aware. This place is boring, my basketball court isn't." The male walked in without saying anything else. He walked straight to the back of the class and sat beside Jungkook, who looked at the other with confused eyes.
Man sure has some guts."Min Yoongi, this is not how you behave with your professor! This is the last time I'm tolerating this kind of behavior, or in future you'll be talking to your father, not me." Professor Lee said with seriousness laced in his voice and Yoongi just rolled his eyes at him.
"Where's your cousin? He's missing classes again?" The professor questioned Yoongi again.
"Why do you care? He's still at the top even if he doesn't attend all the classes." Yoongi replied back, his voice suddenly a bit serious than before.
"Both of you will get in trouble if I talk to your father and your uncle, so bite your tongue Min, that's not how you should talk to any teacher!" The professor almost yelled at the other who shrugged and focused back on his phone, which was under the table.Jungkook was quite surprised at the way the male beside him behaved with the professor. He shrugged it off thinking it must be rich people behavior, he could care less about these rich brats anyway.
Jungkook was writing down some notes when he heard his bench partner say something to him.
"Huh? Sorry, can you repeat it again? I didn't hear you."
"I asked, do you play basketball? I mean you look quite fit and all, so...?" Yoongi asked and raised his brow at the other.
Jungkook indeed plays basketball and enjoys it a lot. He loves sports in general, be it soccer, basketball, rugby, baseball, or whatever, he loves sports and he's good at them as well, maybe not the best, but he's definitely good at them.
"Yeah, I used to play, haven't been in the court since few months." Jungkook shrugged as he replied.
"I'm a shooting guard, we need another one. The previous one left the university and we need one more player, so are you interested?" Yoongi asked and Jungkook thought for a while.
"I mean yeah, I'm okay with it. I can try." He replied.
"Alright! Come to the court tomorrow after 3 alright? Let's have a match together and if you score 5, you're in." Yoongi said and went back to his phone again.
"Alright...."
