I lied

The band that finally had a name, Spring Day, was all hyped for the upcoming band fest and decided to go on an overnight beach trip so they can work on their entry. Tae, the unofficial manager, invited his cousin Mingyu since he's been hanging out with the band anyway.

It was a gorgeous ride to Jumunjin Beach. Tae's family had gone there many times so there's a familiarity with the route, but today he's going with his friends. Tae loves nature and would always marvel at the beauty of the mountains on the way to the beach. JK sat next to Mingyu as expected, so Woonwoo took this chance to sit next to Tae.

"Hey, Woonwoo, I've been listening to Bittersweet...it's pretty good! I like the Latin vibe to it. Love the lyrics too".
Woonwoo might have blushed a little. He really wanted to say that he wrote that for Tae, but couldn't. Instead, he said "I feel like this will be a good entry for the competition since the beat is different. What do you think?"

"Yeahhh, I think you're right. Why don't you play it for the band later?".
"Will you lend your deep smooth vocals so I can convince the members to pick this song?"
"I'll think about it, Woo".
Tae called him Woo....this made Woonwoo's heart flutter a bit.

JK happened to glance to where Tae and Wonwoo sat and wondered when the two became this close. They seem to be in their own little world. JK felt an unfamiliar feeling inside him but couldn't figure it out.

"Earth to Jungkook!" Mingyu blurted rather loudly. "I was asking if you want your banana milk now. I brought them coz you said they were your favorite".
"Sure! Thanks Mingyu!" JK has a child-like fascination with banana milk, or any of his snacks and makes cute little sounds when he drinks or eats his fave stuff. Mingyu finds this extremely endearing. He thinks JK is the perfect combination of cuteness and hotness and didn't seem to be aware of it.

Mingyu has traveled around the world and have met all sorts of people. But never someone like Jungkook. There's just something about this guy, something special, something different and he intends to find out more about him. Best of all, he found out from Tae that JK has never been in a relationship. This is like a challenge to him. He wants to make JK his.

It was Tae's turn to look at JK and Mingyu and they were busy feeding each other.  The trip to the beach is only two hours, but somehow feels longer. Wonwoo knew exactly what caused Tae to sigh heavily.
