"You mean JK just handed you this song for the band to use? Just like that?" Wonwoo was shocked after hearing this from Tae.
" Yeah....I was surprised too. You should listen to it." Tae said with a faraway look in his eyes.
Wonwoo listened to the song, and just as he suspected, it was beautiful. He took a deep breath, looked at Tae and started to speak.
"Tae, I never really told you but I guess you knew I always cared for you. I could be selfish and convince you to choose me because you will be safe with me. I will never hurt you. But love shouldn't be like a plateau, it should be like peaks and valleys. Love should come with exhilaration and disappointments.
I know you love Jungkook and I hate to admit it but it seems he love you too. I always thought that JK is a selfish brat, only thinking of himself. But the fact that he wrote this song and gave it to you, proved me wrong.

Tae started sobbing, overwhelmed by his emotions. Everything that Wonwoo said makes sense. He almost wished he loves him the same way, then life would be perfect. But it never is.
"Wonwoo, you have been such a great friend to me and I appreciate you. I hope someday, you'll find the one who will reciprocate your feelings. Thank you for everything".
Tae and Wonwoo hugged and said their goodbyes.
The next day, Jungkook woke up, looked out the window and noticed that the stairs leading to Tae's room is back in place.
