Arlo surprised me with a trip to Italy which was a really sweet thing for him to do and I made sure to show my gratitude since he is always doing nice things for me. I have never met a man more attentive than Arlo and I will forever be grateful to be at his side.
"This is beautiful." I tell Arlo as we stare out at the sea and cliffs surrounding our yacht. He has a boating license so we never have to worry about bringing people on board when we decide to head out into the ocean.
"You're beautiful." He lightly kisses my head and I smile softly at him. "If you ever wanted to leave America then we've found our dream home and I would be willing to build us a place from scratch."
"I know you would." I give his thigh a squeeze. "Instead of settling down in a country, maybe we can set sail and see where life takes us."
"Maybe." Arlo lifts his cigar up to his lips before taking a deep drag and I find myself cuddling into him as we listen to our unreleased tracks in the background. I often wonder what my life would have been like if I didn't meet Arlo who completed transformed everything in my life.
