-Chapter Ten-

"Mike?" Nancy asked entering his room. "What?" Mike asked mumbling. "I'm sorry about dad." She said sitting down. "He's an asshole." Mike said.

"I know. Mom told me that she's looking for to divorce him." Nancy said. Mike sat up and just stared at her.

"Really?" Mike asked hopeful. Nancy nodded and smiled. Mike sighed happily. "There's something else too." Nancy said. Mike looked at her telling to continue. Nancy smiled and sat down on his bed. "So we are actually going to Lenora, California. Just to you know... take a break. We have family down there that we could visit so why not?" Nancy smiled.

Mike suddenly lit up knowing that Will lived somewhere in California. He didn't know where though. So he might text one of Wills friends. Probably Jane. Mike knows they're close. Mikes sent a dm to Jane waiting for a response.

Mike: Hey

Jane: Hey? You're Mike right? Wills told me ALL about you

Mike: I'm glad. He's told me about you as well

Jane: So what did you need?

Mike: Will lives in California right?

Jane: Yes?

Mike: Where?

Jane: Lenora... why?

Mike: Because my family is taking a trip down to California. I don't know where though

Jane: Really?! Find out where and I'll text you Wills address

Mike: You will? Sweet

Mike heard his mom talking about California a little more so he decided to ask her about it. "Hey mom?" He asked.

"Yes?" She asked. "Where are we are to in California?" Mike asked hopeful. "Lenora... why?" She asked.

Mike said. "No reason." Mike said as he ran back upstairs. Nancy smiled knowing the reason. Mike was extremely excited to go now.

He's been talking to Will for a while. And he could barely hold his excitement. Mike texted Jane and she sent him his address. Mike smiled at the thought of seeing Will. He was super excited.

Mikes of course wanted to surprise him he then started to text Will with a huge smile on his face.

Mike: Hey

Will: Hey Mike!

Mike: Wyd?

Will: Nothing much just finished my hw I'm now drawing

Mike: Cool cool my parents FINALLY filed for a divorce

Will: Really? Are you okay?

Mike: Yes I'm okay... thank you Will

Will: For what?

Mike: For everything... for always being there for me. You're amazing

Will: And thank you as well I'll always be here for you like I hope you'll always be here for me

Mike: Of course Will ❤️

Will: ❤️
