Chapter 1: A New World

(Alex's POV)

A singularity opened up above Central City. Everyone was freaking out, not knowing what was happening. Barry and the others ran out to see what they could do to stop it, and I moved to follow them, but something pulled on my leg. I looked behind me to see that the singularity was pulling me and Eddie's dead body up towards it. I looked over at the others and let out a scream. Joe and Cisco stopped running and looked over at me. I could see the fear in their eyes, they're hearts were racing. The pull started to get stronger and I am not strong enough to pull myself away from it.

Cisco: "Alex!"

I saw them run over to me, but as the singularity grows bigger, the stronger the pull gets. I looked over to see Eddie's body get sucked up into the black hole. I looked back over at Cisco and Joe. Joe stopped Cisco from getting closer to me. I see him struggling against Joe.

Alex: "Cisco!"

They stopped fighting and looked at me shocked and worried. The next thing I knew, I was getting pulled up and floated up and out of the Pipeline and up to the skies. I looked around scared. I watched as buildings started getting ripped apart, and people were getting either crushed or pulled into the black hole, such as myself. I see cars and other stuff sucked up to the black hole. I then looked to see Barry and the others. I know they could see me, I just can't hear whatever they were saying. Barry looked distraught. I looked up at the black hole as I get sucked inside. That is all I remember as I get sucked through it.

(Time skip)

I groaned as I opened my eyes. I hear cars and people talking. I sat up and looked around confused. I'm in a city...but how is that possible? The last thing I remember was being pulled up towards the singularity and watching as my city was being destroyed. I groaned as I sat up. I limped out of the alleyway I was in and looked around confused. This city...it seems fine. As if the singularity didn't happen. I looked around to see people walking the streets, and cars driving by, hell a few billboards were showing some people that I didn't know. I looked at the faces on the screens and scanned them. Some information came up. Homelander. Who the hell is that? I got the other information. A-Train a...a Speedster. How did Barry and Dad not hear about him? The Deep. Queen Maeve. Black Noir. The Seven. Vought. I have no idea who these people even are. But they appear to be loved by everyone. They have drinks named after them, foods named after them, TV shows made about them, movies made about them, toys made for them, and even clothes named after them, or made for them. I looked around confused out of my mind. I need to figure out what happened to me. I also need to find a way to contact the others. I need to get back to Central City, and fast. I walked down the street, no one seeming to pay attention to me. I don't think they care. I walk past what looks to be an electronic store. I need to figure out where this city's library is. I soon found what looked to be a coffee shop. I walk inside. Okay, so this wouldn't be like Jitters, there is no Mary. I know nobody. I can't just act as if I know the workers and have a great bond with them as Mary and I do. I walked up to the counter.

Worker: "What can I get you, kid?"

I ordered something to eat and drink. Lucky for me, they use the same money as people in Central City. I ordered a drink that's called A-Train Expresso. (A/N: I made that up. I was just thinking about that drink in The Flash called The Flash.) I sat down at a table and looked around. I scanned a lot of people, getting their lives. But this one couple, I think they saw me look at them. I quickly looked away. I wish I had my computer, so then I wouldn't need to go to a library.

???: "Hey."

I jumped and looked up. Oh, it's the couple. Great, now they're gonna ask me questions I don't have the answer to.
