As usual, the evers side of the eating area is half empty due to the evergirls still getting ready for the day. Surprisingly, Agatha was still getting ready, and that didn't seem to bother my friends, though.

As we made our way to the lunch table we dodged the flying scraps of food being thrown at us. "Isn't it strange Agatha isn't here? She's usually here at breakfast before anyone else, " I mentioned to my friends. I noticed a random scrap of food approaching my direction and side stepped out of the way.

I stared at the ground and discovered the scrap of food was a bit of ginger. I shrugged it off and followed my friends.

"You want to know what I think is strange, Hildy? Why you care so much about that witch," Lucy answered, with a sneer.

Lucy, Daphne, and Giselle are like all the other evers. They think she's a witch. What do I think of her? She's nice sometimes a bit cheeky, but she's better than half of the evergirls.

"All she does is cause trouble," Giselle added. A chunk of food zipped through the air barely grazing her face. Frightened, she squealed, hiding behind Daphne.

"She smells like an odd odour," Daphne joined in. I approached the lunch table where the tall nymph stood. The nymph began sorting out a basket of all sorts of fruits and snacks.

"She's getting better, which is odd. Maybe she finally found her arch nemesis. Thank you. " I received a basket of food from the nymph.

I held the basket on my arm and looked up to my friends after dusting myself up. "So where shall we sit-" I stopped myself, disturbed by the stares my friend gave me. "What!?" I addressed putting a hand on my hip.

"Hildy, what did you say?" Giselle asked, wearily.

"I said where shall we sit?" I replied.

"No, no, the other thing," Giselle inched closer. I thought for a moment. "Oh, I said maybe Agatha found her arch nemesis," I joked, with a chuckle.

Suddenly, an overwhelming amount of food scraps whizzed through the air at us. The four of us rushed outside to eat in peace. Surprisingly there was a few princes and princesses sitting outside aswell.

Now away from the tiresome nevers we attempted to finish our conversation.

"Blast those nevers!" Lucy cursed. "They just have to take away my patience."

We all murmured in agreement. We found a lunch table outside and approached it. "Back to the topic... Hildy, what do you mean arch nemesis?" Lucy broke the awkwardness.

I sat down on the bench and handed out the snacks. Daphne sat to the right of me and across from me sat Lucy. Across from Daphne sat Giselle.

"You know good and evil are enemies? When one fails the other succeeds... Or no, when one grows weaker, the other grows stronger. Yes that's it!" I explained,

From the basket I pulled out a container of French toast. The French toast was drizzled with chocolate syrup and sprinkled with blueberries. I took out a fork from the basket. I was about to take a bite of my toast when Daphne stood up abruptly, shouting, "THAT'S IT!". Heads of evers all spun to the dark haired ever

Embarrassed, Daphne nervously laughed it off and gracefully sat back down.

She lowered her voice, "What I meant is that it would explain the sudden change. Agatha has been... Advancing as much as I hate to admit it. "

"But who in this school could be Agatha's nemesis?" Lucy kept her head down so no one could hear.

"This is nonsense. I was only joking," I spoke up. "Hildy were not trying to be rude but think about it. Agatha isn't like this that would explain the sudden change of her mood, " Giselle reasoned. They had a point Agatha seemed happier and glowy.
