"Wait, so you're telling me that Tedros chose Agatha. The storian was writing Agatha and Sophie's fairy tale, but then it got confused by who was the protagonist and now its writing your fairytale!" Daphne practically jumped off of her bed.
"And Sophie's the witch that's going to kill us all," Giselle followed Daphne's reaction.
"And one of the nevers rats shit on my favourite pair of velvet slippers WHY WHY?" Lucy cried, holding one of her slippers.
"All of these things are true, thank you," I assured, thanking the faerie for our morning tea.
The faeries brought a platter of morning tea biscuits and all tea necessities.
The little faerie gestured to the sugar jar, "One lump or two," it jingled.
"How about three?" I waved out three fingers. The faerie made a confused face but shrugged it off and obeyed.
"Thank you again," I nodded my head in respect
It bowed its head in respect and signalled the other faeries to leave the room. After what happened last night I asked my friends if we could just have breakfast in our dorm. I don't think I could bare facing Tedros again.
"We should get ready. Our families will be leaving soon. Giselle suggested, fixing herself up.
"They're leaving soon? thought it was the day after tomorrow," I wondered.
"It's because of the storm last night," she placed herself on her vanity. "Apparently, the weather was so bad they had to sleep in the theatre of tales. The professor Dovey says it's better they leave before another storm comes in. "
"Storm? I didn't hear any thunder,' I commented, stirring my tea.
"Oh, you were in a deep sleep when Agatha and Tedros called us to see if you were okay," Daphne explained. She has gotten up and sat at her vanity aswell.
That was exactly what I was avoiding last night. "What are you talking about?" I acted dumbly.
Daphne begun brushing her hair as she to me the rest of the story, "Agatha and Tedros said they saw you running away crying into your room."
"They what?" I uncomfortably shifted.
"Yes, I know, utterly ridiculous!" Giselle exclaimed. "They claimed you locked yourself in here upset but when we came in you were dead asleep. You were probably in there sleeping for an hour beforehand,"
"They kept on claiming you were crying aswell" Lucy added on. She took a few sips of her tea before guessing, "they must've been seeing things. You probably fell asleep before the storm. I still don't know how you slept through that, by the way. "
"Maybe we should start getting ready so we have more time with them before they leave." I changed the subject, hurrying out of bed.
"You're right. We won't see them for another year," Giselle's face saddened.
I grabbed a hair brush and did the quickest hairstyle. I could do a low pony and wore our classic uniform. I put on a pearl headband and pink shoes lined with pearls.
I was probably the first to rush out. "Hildy, you're done already? no makeup your eyebags are showing, " Lucy commented.
"No time if I want to spend more time with my family before they leave I have to go now, forget about makeup." I rushed out the door.
The last thing I caught what they said was scoffs and Lucy exclaiming, "FORGET ABOUT MAKEUP!?" I love those girls, but they can be a handful.
The stairs were probably my least favourite thing, but sliding down the bannister is definitely my favourite part of the school.
