Luna
"I can't believe this", I think as I'm laid to the bed, Mike spooning me, his hand around my waist. I look at the ring, thinking if I made the right choice. I did. I mean, yeah, I did.
Mike is a nice guy, and I know I'll be happy with him. We'll live in California, and everything's going to be alright. I don't realize my heart's been beating fast ever since I start thinking of these things, and I slowly remove his hand from me, getting up and going to the kitchen.
I play with the ring again as I drink some water.
I never thought of getting married. Or at least getting married with Mike. It just was never on my mind. It's not like I'm old and should've been thinking about marriage. I'm young, still.
I grab my phone with my hand and text Mariah, but I'm sure she's not going to answer, she's busy with David. Then I text Josh. It isn't that late, only 1am, and Josh is used to staying awake late.
Thankfully, he answers, and we begin talking for a bit, before I feel my eyelids heavy, wish him goodnight, and go back to Mike.

"How did the bride-to-be wake up today?" Mariah brings me coffee as I'm sitting at the Wreck, at 10am. Mike is out with David and Leo -yeah Leo left Leah alone for once-, and I don't know what they're doing.
"Mariah, please." I murmur and take a sip of my coffee, and she looks at me confused.
"I can't believe you're getting married." she exclaims and I nod, taking another sip.
"Like I believe it." I mutter and she raises an eyebrow. "OK, spill, what's the matter?" she asks me and I sigh.
"I don't know... I just haven't come to realize it maybe." I confess to her and all she does is narrow her eyes at me.
"What?" I ask her.
"Are you sure you wanna marry Mike?" my eyes widen at her question, and I get all defensive.
"Of course. I told him yes, what do you mean?" she shrugs her shoulders and it's like she's keeping something to herself. It's like she wants to say more, but she doesn't.
I look at her a little more, before I turn my gaze to the sea. Beautiful. I missed OBX. I missed home.
"I'll need your help, you know." I turn back to her, and she looks at me like she doesn't get what I'm saying.
"With the wedding. I'll need your help." she shakes her head as soon as I Carty on.
"It's going to be here?" she's fighting a smile and I giggle at her reaction, telling her of course it's going to be here.
Of course I would marry in OBX.
"What's going to be here?" Josh's voice makes us both flinch and turn to look, only to see him with Damon next to him.
I gulp and feel my heart beating rapidly all over again.
"My wedding." I answer hesitantly and Josh nods, coming our way all smiling, while Damon stays looking at me, before coming too.
We all talk for a little while, Damon and I clearly stiff, when Josh and Mariah go inside the kitchen, and leave us alone.
"So, where's your fiancé?" he asks me, and I can sense the irony in his voice.
"Out. With my cousins." I answer with the same tone, and he bites his inner cheek, staring at me.
"Doesn't he want to be all the time with you?" he carries on and my heart skips a beat, thinking what he might say next.
