Luna
It's been a month , since Damon and I started seeing each other, since we started hooking up, and we still take things slow. But I've told my friends. They were surprised, of course, but they kind of expected it. Especially Mariah and Leah. Josh was acting disgusted, but I can tell he's okay with it. And even if he weren't, I wouldn't stop seeing the guy I ... like.
"What are we doing here, Damon?" I ask him as we're at the old airport, here in OBX. I don't know why it's no longer working, but I don't ask many questions.
"See for yourself, babe." he nudges me closer to him and points with his eyes beside us.
And oh my God.
"Embrace yourself. I'm taking you for a ride." my eyes widen. I've never flied somewhere, I've never been on a plane before. Even though that's a helicopter. Same thing.
"You're joking?" he shakes his head in denial and smiles at me, going to the plane when he opens the door with the press of a button. He stands beside the door and looks at me, and I'm melting.
I walk closer to him.
"That's why you're all dressed like that." I smile at him and he nods, as he wears a white shirt, with a black tie and pants, but not the regular suit jacket. A leather jacket.
"I can't wait to rip this tie off of you." my chest collides to his and he wraps a hand around my waist, my hands cupping his face as I kiss him hungrily.
"Hop on board now. Let's go." he says as soon as we pull away and I get on the helicopter, him behind me. I go to the seat next to the pilot's, where he goes. And holy moly, what a hot sight.
He takes off his leather jacket, my eyes going to his muscles that are popping out and he smirks, because he sees me. I blush and look at the orange sky, since it's sunset currently. He turns to me and puts my seatbelt on, then his, before he tells me to prepare myself.
"I'm scared." I confess and he puts a hand on my thigh.
"I won't let anything happen to you. I promise." I take a deep breath and nod, trusting him.
"Plus, I am a pretty good pilot." I giggle, hitting his arm and he chuckles as well. "And a humble one too." I comment and peck his lips for reassurance.
He starts the engine and soon enough, we're flying. Oh gosh.
"You okay?" he asks me as we're now above the sea, the color of the sky a perfect one. The color of our dreams. The island looks really small, and I can see Charleston, small too. I'm focused on the view, and I simply nod, my lips parted amazed as I am.
We now fly away from OBX. I turn and look at him. He looks concentrated, completely focused on flying right, on piloting the helicopter right, his eyes narrowed or normal from time to time.
I look back at the view, feeling overwhelmed by the whole scenery, by what he's doing for me. No one has ever done something like that for me. I grab my phone and take some pictures of the view, then turn it into selfie and stick my tongue out, Damon not even realizing I'm taking a picture.
We fly some more, before he starts to lower the helicopter, and we're back at the field, at the old airport.
We remove our seatbelts and I immediately jump on his lap, pecking his nose, his cheeks, his lips, his jaw. I kiss him everywhere, while his laughter and my lips crashing his face are the only thing heard inside here.
"Thank you." I say, my voice low ,and caress his face, while he's...beaming at me?
"You liked it, huh?" he asks, still kind of nervous of my reaction, not like I didn't just show him a glimpse of how I felt.
