"you're the last person I'd expect to see here"I HUDDLED by the apartment window, resting my head on the glass while admiring the city view. Despite how high up I was, l could still hear the sound of children laughing from the neighbourhood park. Parents mingling from afar, dogs roughing around freely, and children experimenting with their newly found quirks. The sight of it all eased my mind from the incident a few days ago. I hadn't left my apartment since USJ, ignoring all the messages the commission had been sending me regarding my leave. I heard my phone buzz again, groaning at the thought of it. Why are they so persistent with knowing my constant move. It's not like I'm a wanted criminal or something.
I glanced down at the screen shocked it wasn't them, but Keigo instead. Keigo? Why's he texting me all of a sudden?
I pick up the device and open his message.

When'd he get so sappy with his words. It's like he's been brainwashed or something. I laugh at just the thought of him typing that message out. Guess it wouldn't hurt to go out for a walk. The school did give us a week to rest, and Aizawa was incapable of giving us homework.

I WATCHED IN DISTRESS as the cars sped through the road, my ears drowning from the loud sounds of their engines. I tightened my grip around the strap of my bag, taking a step back from the edge of the sidewalk. It looked a lot simpler crossing roads from the safety of my apartment window. The route to UA was quiet, deserted, and safe. This was the total opposite. My attempt at retreating back failed when the light shifted from a red hand to a white person signalling it was our turn to cross. I was shoved onto the busy road, nervously trying to navigate my way through. My phone managed to slip my grip, tumbling onto the ground. Crap! I hastily tried to push my way back, but my efforts seemed to be useless. Once the road cleared, I could finally see my phone laying in the middle of the street. I looked back at the traffic light that displayed a countdown of how much time I had left until the cars would start there engine again. I hurriedly ran back, picking up my phone. I examined my phone, making sure there weren't any cracks on the screen. After I confirmed the safety of the device, a loud whistle blew into my ear, causing me to flinch.
