SHE WHAT!?!?!?

"Hi buddies" Janie said sitting next to me.

"Yo"

"Hi"

I mumble and hey, hoping she can her me since I'm laying my head on my homeroom desk. I didn't exactly get a good nights sleep.

"Wow Sammie that's the best 'Hi' I've ever heard. Thank you Michael and Ray for being good friends"

I don't reply.

"You OK? I thought you were gonna interrogate me about the rest of the date-I mean bowling thing" Janie stutters.

I immediately perk up.

"So, just curious what happened?"

Janie smirks. "Oh nothing just going on a second date you know nothing much." She crosses her arms and starts to smile. "Really?!?!?" I have to refrain from jumping up and down and squealing like a little girl.

"Uh-oh Ray do you think we have to have 'the talk' with our girls?" Michael questions "I hope not. Sammie is too young for that stuff" Ray replies. What are they talking about?

"Ewww you guys, no its just a second date" Janie squeals. Michael and Ray burst out laughing. The talk? I'm so confused. "You-don't-know-what-were-talking-about-do-you?" Ray says taking breathes. I shake my head and he laughs harder. "Well Sammie when two people love each other very much-"

I cover my ears.

"Now I know what your talking about! Wow you dirty minded people!" The bell rings and the laughter slowly dies down.

"Anyway Sammie hopefully you can refrain Alex from intervening on our second date" Janie shrugs. I shudder.

...Wait is she-

"Are you suggesting that I go on a date with Alex Leavens?". I shudder again. I gotta stop saying his name. "No just...yes, yes I am"

My jaw drops. Then the bell rings. "Wha-Bu-I-He-Player-and -" I sutter. "You want me to go on a date with the biggest player in school!"

Janie stands up. "You don't have to go on a date with him. Just you know, get him to not intervene with our next date" She says.

"Yeah they wouldn't want Alex coming into the room while their...you know" Micheal say. I roll my eyes "Gross! ugh " I stand up and grab my things. "See you two at lunch" I say to Michael and Ray who are on the floor laughing. "O-ok. L-l-love you." Ray says. I sigh. "Love you too" I say dragging Janie out of the room.

Yesh I say love you to Ray. Hes my best friend.

"Now that that mess is gone lets talk about you and Alex" I shudder again.

"What's there to talk about." I say nonchalantly.

"What did he say to you before we went bowling, What happened when you walked home, did he kiss you at your doorstep?"

I freeze.

"Kiss me at my doorstep?" I say my voice becoming high pitched and my cheeks going red. "Well, yeah, that's what happens in the movies..." She drifts off. "We didn't kiss" I state my voice still high pitched.

"Then why are you blushing?" she asks. "Because the thought of it creeps me out and makes me nervous" I say lowering the pitch of my voice. She hesitates. "Ok, come on lets get to class." I nod.
