"Alright. We're going to start with your paddling technique first. And we're going to do this on the beach first before we move to the water" San told him, putting the board for him on the ground.

Wooyoung snorted. "I could have carried that myself you know"

"I know. But you're such a pillow princess sometimes so I got used to doing everything for you. " San casually replied.

Wooyoung grimaced. "There's so many things wrong about how you worded that. A pillow princess? Shut up San"

San rolled his eyes. "Obviously I didn't mean it in a sexual context. Get your mind out of the gutter"

"The definition of that is literally in a sexual context and I never said... you know what... Stop talking. "

San smirked."Exactly. And get on the board. "

Wooyoung huffed pettily but did as told, lying flat on his stomach on the board. "Now what? "

"Raise your head and chest a bit then look forward. "

He did as instructed and waited for San's next instruction while he stood in front of him, inspecting.

"Good. You need to be centered horizontally''San went to stand above him, feet on both of his sides. He bent down and put his hands on his waist, gently shifting his body to put him in the position he wanted him in.

''When you're in the water and if you sink on either side of the board that means you're not centered on the board and need to readjust your body. ''San reminded.

''Next we're going to do your paddles. Come on.''San reached his hand out.

''We're going in the water?''Wooyoung asked, feeling the panic in his body rise.

San nodded.''It'll be easier to show you there than here.''

He took his hand and let him pull him off the ground. He grabbed his board, putting it under his arm and walked to the water with him. His legs started to feel like jelly. Swimming was fine but surfing was another story.

''If you let me drown i'll fucking kill you before i die.''Wooyoung warned though his nerves made him sound ridiculous.

San smiled.''You can never die before me Woo. Atleast not on my watch. ''

They went into the water and Wooyoung tried to focus and not let his nerves take over. He got on the board like he showed him and after a few wobbles and falls he managed to lie perfectly on the centre. San was right next to him, holding the board for him and making sure he was stable enough before he let go of it.

''There you go. Now for your paddles. Penetrate your hand underwater and extend your arm. Slowly slide your fingers down as you paddle.''

Wooyoung did as he said, imagining it like he were just swimming but with the board. His board slowly started to move forward. That got him excited and he paddled a bit faster for more effect.
