Sanemi could just feel something was wrong.

Through the whole Hashira meeting he had felt something was wrong.
So much he could barely pay attention to what the stupid kid was saying.

Something about Slayer Marks and Uppermoons and shit?
The only thing that could snap him out of his trance at that moment was Hashira Training

Sanemi did not want to teach a bunch of idiots how to do shit.
That sounded like actual hell.

Walking out, Sanemi was fuming.
despite his attempts, it was decided that Hashira training would take place to ensure the caliber of demon slayers before the possibility of a high risk fight.

He did not want to be talked to.

Giyuu reached over and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Sanemi" He whispered.

Sanemi hit his hand away.
There were too many people here. If one of the other Hashira saw that...

"Not now 'yuu" He hissed.

Giyuu was really bad at being secret wasn't he?
Sanemi began to walk away, but Giyuu stopped him.

"You'll want to hear this"

Giyuus crow flew down, ready to relay the information it had gained once again.

oh.

OH SANEMI HAD SOMEONE TO TAKE HIS ANGER OUT ON NOW.

.....................................

"I don't wanna do it!" Muihciro whined.

Hashira training was such a dumb idea.

Genya nodded as Muichiro ranted on about how dumb the premise of having to train lower ranked slayers was.
They were wrapped in each other's arms in the mist estate, surrounded by the blankets on Mui's bed.

Muichiro stopped speaking for a second, his face going blank how it usually did when he was spacing out.

Genya shook him slightly
"Mui, what's up?"

"You leave tomorrow. and then I.. I dont know how long it'll be until I see you again."
Genya's face softened.
That was true.

After the training began, Muichiro would be too busy training other slayers to come visit Genya, and Genya wouldn't be able to leave whichever estate he was training at.

It could be weeks before they saw each other again.

Genya squeezed Muichiro's hand.
"I'll write to you. Every day. I promise"

Muichiro pulled himself closer to his boyfriend.

"ok." He whispered. "Stay here with me? just for tonight?"

Genya nodded.

I mean- they probably had better things to spend their time doing, but this would do fine for now.

....................................

Muichiro hated training from the moment it began.
It might actually kill him.

He had no idea how any of these incompetent idiots were still alive.

Alot of them barely listened to him aswell, making it so much worse.
When you are young they assume you know nothing.

Genya upheld his promise though.
each day a new letter was delivered to him by Ginko, who HATED delivering their little letters back and forth.
Ginko might have just hated Genya in general. It was very possible.
