"Where are the pancakes, Haru nii-chan?" I asked, staring at the empty table

"Where are the pancakes, Haru nii-chan?" I asked, staring at the empty table. "Well... um, you see... I don't know how to make pancakes," he nervously laughed and scratched the back of his head. "Ran doesn't know how to cook, and I don't want to ask that coconut..."

Ran sent him a murderous glare with a devilish smile. "Are you blaming it on Ran? And why didn't you just ask Mochi or Kakucho or Koko, or maybe Mikey? or even Omi nii-chan?""I asked, placing my hands on my hips and side-eyeing my brother.

"I'm not going to ask boss! The other two were are on a mission. That coconut is weird as fuck. And there's NO WAY I'M GOING TO ASK THAT OLD FART!"He yelled the last part loudly enough for someone to hear and shouted, "WHAT DID YOU SAY?"Back.

I sighed and shook my head in disappointment. Then, I scolded Haru and lightly hitting him on the head with Takeomi's slipper, like a mother. I walked to the kitchen, but then stopped and looked back at the three.

"Aren't you going to help?" I smiled, giving Haru a glare since he was the one who wanted pancakes. "Y-yeah!" Haru stuttered, surprised that someone had managed to scare him, his younger sister. Rindou responded with a dull face, while Ran was the complete opposite of his brother.

The four of you began making pancakes, and luckily, Rindou was the only one who knew how to cook. He snatched a hair tie from my hand and tied his own hair into a casual low ponytail.

Despite a few loose strands on his forehead, Ran's natural look was incredibly attractive. Any girl would be fallen for them already.

Where else, my brother? I helped him in tying his hair into a low ponytail because he was unaware of how to do it himself.I put my hair in a messy bun, leaving a few strands on my forehead.

I then convinced the three of them to wear a cat apron. Only Ran agreed, while Haru complained and Rindou gave me a disgusted look. However, with the power of my persuasive puppy eyes, I managed to finally convince them!

The kitchen turned into a disaster. First, Haru accidentally tried to set the kitchen on fire.He attempted to flood the kitchen, so I kicked him out of the kitchen and told him to sit on the floor, and as a consequence, he gets no extra pancakes.

after that, Haru kept glaring at Ran, who kept giving smirks back. while me and Rindou just ignored their childish behaviour.

"pancakes...?" a voice came, coming into the living room. the first person to realise it was Mikey was Haru, he instantly stood up and dusted his pants, looking like he was going to clean up or something. "boss!" that was the first thing he said, but Mikey just ignored him. "Kira..."I looked up, mouthing a 'yes'? "I want some taiyaki..."

I nodded with a smile and said, "I'll buy you a box after this, okay?" he nodded and headed back to him room. "Since when were you his personal supermarket?" I shrugged and grinned, "I receive higher pay."

that is basically all i care about after all, needing to live, money is one of key. escaping was the other.

After we finished eating the pancakes, we quickly arranged the plates while I added honey, whipped cream, and a piece of butter to each pancake as a final touch.

We all thanked for the food and began discussing random topics."I'll go get it," i said as the doorbell rang.I gave Haru a stern look to prevent him from taking one of my pancakes. My attention was drawn to a food delivery box that was sitting on the floor, unattended.

weird.

I cautiously picked it up, listening for any signs of danger, relieved to find that it was not a bomb. i zipped open the bag, finding a letter and some files.

Oh great, missions for me? even from Korea? just great. i brought the bag back to the table, while everyone's eyes were on me. "what's that?" Haru asked as he munched on the pancake, letting the honey flow around. "Stuff."I replied simply, sitting down and removing the letter.

(Hyun, since you are living under Bonten's roof, you are also working for them, correct? There are people hiding in Shibuya, which is a group of people who are all ex-gang members of the biggest gangs. It is challenging to locate them since they are all in their 20s. They devised a plan to dismantle Bonten, beginning with their leader, Mikey. Mikey was the leader of a large gang called the 'Tokyo Manji Gang' that led Shibuya. The next target will be your brother, so please be cautious. The group has about 20 people hiding in an underground lair, fortunately there is a woman in the group who doesn't know how to fight, but be careful though and may kidnap you for Bonten information. Stay safe, xxx.)

"Hm."I tapped my index finger on my chin, examining the letter. I set the letter aside and began looking through the files. "Takemichi Hanagaki?" I muttered, and Haru quickly jerked his head towards me, asking, "Huh?" came out of his mouth, catching the brothers attention.

no, i couldn't tell them, i will keep the information to myself. "Nothing," I shook my head. "Wh-" He was interrupted by a notification on my phone from an unknown number.

My eyes tracked the sentence as I stood up, briefly glancing at the clock.5:43 PM. "you guys can finish my pancake!" I quickly waved and hurried into my room. I put on a black hoodie, shorts, and Converse shoes to complete the outfit. i ran into the lift, not bothering if the three were trying to stop me from running away.

I strolled down the streets and came across a wall that turned out to be a hidden door. I remembered the contents of the letter, which stated that there were approximately 20 people hiding in an underground lair.

"Perfect."i grinned.
