Chapter 7

Jadyn's POV
August 7, 2015

I woke up to my phone vibrating I looked at the screen and it showed that I got texts from Shawn!!!

Shawn🎤-Hey Jadyn, good morning. I hope u have a great day maybe we can hang out today txt me back if you want to.

Me-Hay!! Yea sure meet me at the park near Westpaces Road at 12:30. 😀😋

Shawn😍🎤-Okay I will👍see you at 12:30. ✌️

So I got up and told Kayla I'm meeting Shawn soon and I need help with my outfit. So we picked out my high waisted jean shorts and my white lace crop top. It was only 11:45 so I decided to walk outside to the nearest Starbucks. Once I got into Starbucks I ordered a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with no whip cream. "Jadyn!" My name was called and I got my drink and sat down and I felt someone tap me on the shoulder I turned around and saw a girl with ombré hair and glasses she was wearing a purple shirt and shorts she asked, "Are you the girl who sang with Shawn Mendes yesterday at his concert?"
"Yes I was!" I said excitedly that someone actually noticed me. I asked her if she wanted to sit down at the table and she said yes. So we started talking a lot and I found out that she was really nice, her name was Haley, and I got her phone number so we can talk and hang out.

Shawn's POV
I left the tour bus at 12:00 to walk to Westpaces Road. Obviously I was wearing a disguise, but I wore my black t-shirt and jeans. I couldn't wait to see Jadyn again I just want to get to know her better and maybe become friends or best friends or more.(😉😉)

Jadyn's POV
When I got to the park I saw Shawn sitting there on a swing when I walked up behind him and I heard him singing that unknown song I heard yesterday. I still just let it go and went behind him and squeezed his sides and he jumped and put his hand on his heart showing that I had scared him. I just started laughing at how bad I scared him. He turned away from me and wouldn't talk to me. "I'm sorry, Shawn please talk or look at me," I pleaded.
He turned back around and said,"It's okay I was only kidding." After about 10 minutes of just talking and getting to know each other better we got up and started walking around and looking into different stores. I started showing him around my little town and where I live. Once we were done walking around it was 4:30 so I asked him if he wanted to go to my house and eat dinner and he said yes. Once we got to my house I unlocked the door and walked inside with Shawn my parents weren't home yet so we just sat down on the couch and started watching Netflix.

When my mom got home she started to make dinner which was meatballs and pasta with marinara sauce. It was a great dinner becauseI got to share it with my family and my idol. Once dinner was over and Shawn was about to leave he stood at my doorstep and asked me a question,"Jadyn,will you do me the honor of being your best friend?" I was very surprised that he asked me that question but anyway I said yes! Once Shawn left my house I spent the rest of the day hanging out with Jordan before she leaves tomorrow morning. That night just before I went to sleep I got a text from Shawn:

Shawn🎤👫-Goodnight best friend!!

Me-Goodnight!! Have a great night!!
