Chapter 4

Jadyn's POV
August 6, 2015
I woke up and it was 6:00 a.m and I felt the memories of earlier this morning come back to memory. I wonder what Hayes meant by: "Goodnight Jadyn I love you."
I just think he meant I love you as a friend, but I'm going to have to ask him about it later.
When I stopped thinking I realized that it was 6:30 so I got up and got dressed for the concert!!!! I put on my Shawn Mendes short cut sleeve shirt, my black jeggings, and my white converse. After I got dressed I went to the bathroom and obviously someone was in there getting a shower so I waited for about 20 minutes and then Kayla came out of the shower and I said "If I knew you were in there I would've been done with my makeup 20 minutes ago." "Lol," she said as she laughed. After I finished my mascara, I put on the bracelet Kayla and Hayes got me for my birthday. I went out of my room and smelled pancakes and waffles. My stomach was growling when I saw all the eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, and cinnamon rolls. "Jadyn you have 16 minutes to eat before you go to the concert," my mom warned me. "Okay I will shovel down all my food because that's healthy right," I said sarcastically. "I never said you had to shovel down your food," my mom fought back. "But you implied that," I said. "Okay whatever, just eat you have 13 minutes before you leave."
I got a plate full of bacon and eggs.

**********10 minutes later**********
"Cmon, Jadyn we have to leave," Kayla said while I was finishing my eggs🍳.
"I'm coming," I said back to her. I ran up stairs and grabbed my purse and the tickets, said bye to my mom, and ran to the car.
"Took you long enough," Hayes said.
"Shut up Grier," I said while laughing because he was tickling me.
"You know I hate when you call me that," he said while tickling me.
"ST-OP!" I yelped.
"Only if you say sorry," he said back to me.
"Okay, sorry," I said and he stopped tickling me. Right after he finished tickling me Kayla got into the car and said, "Come on you dorks we're leaving- "
"To see SHAWN," I cut her off and squealed.
Hayes and Kayla both laughed.
"You guys," Kayla said, "we are almost there but the concert doesn't start till 8 o'clock, so we will check into the hotel and stay there for a couple hours."
************At the hotel************
"Hi, welcome to the Renaissance Raleigh North Hills Hotel, can I help you," the lady at the front desk said.
"Ya we wanted to check in," Kayla said.
"Umm...what is the name the room is under?" The lady asked.
"It's Irwin." Kayla said back.
"Okay here is your keys, your room is on the 5th floor and it is room number 5342," she said.
"Okay thanks," we all responded back to her.
We walked all the way up to the 5th floor because the elevators were broken. When we got in the room I lied on the bed and thought for a couple minutes. I was thinking about if this all was real or if I was dreaming, and how I'm going to actually see my idol. Then I started to think about how much time we had until it started and we have about 3 hours, 16 minutes, and 5 seconds until the concert and yes I am actually counting down the time in seconds.
"Where are we sitting at the concert?" I asked Kayla who was looking at her phone.
"We are sitting in the front row," she told me and I squealed inside my head. I got tired of waiting so I turned on the TV and Disney Channel popped up on the screen and I saw Shawn was on the TV and they were talking about him winning NBT, so I decided to listen to that for a little bit. I saw that they were interviewing him and they asked him if he has done anything this week for his fans and
He said "My friend Nash, his brother Hayes came in the studio and asked me to get his friend Jadyn, who is a big fan of mine a ticket to my next concert in North Carolina because it was her birthday so I sent her a birthday video and got her three tickets to the show." After I heard him say my name I died on the inside.
I looked at the TV again and they were showing the video he made me.
"Jadyn, we have to leave in 10 min," Hayes told me.
"Okay..." I said. I got out of the bed and got an Areopostle jacket on. Kayla and I ran to the car while Hayes trudged up to us. We got in the car and drove to the arena Shawn was performing in...
