Chapter 15

Jadyn's POV
August 15, 2015

I woke up this morning and I was filled with joy. "Shawn Mendes is my boyfriend!" I kept saying to myself still not believing it. It's like my biggest dream came true. I was lost in thoughts before a ring from my phone pulled me out. It was a text from Shawn!

Da Boyfriend💗💏-Hey beautiful, I hope you have a great day at school today! I was also wondering if you wanted to go on a date tonight?

Me-Hey, thx I hope you have a great day today! Yes I will go on a date with you tonight!

Da Boyfriend💗💏-Okay I will pick you up at 7:00 and wear something nice.

Me-Okay will do! Tttyl😘💋

Da Boyfriend💗💏-Okay bye😘

I wonder where he is taking me. Knowing him, he probably won't tell me. And something you should know is that I hate surprises😡. But I could deal with them every once in a while.

Once I was done thinking I looked at my clock and immediately stood up and got dressed. I picked out a black and white polka dot shirt, a black skirt, and black vans. Once I was done dressing I grabbed my bag, a cereal bar, and walked to Hayes' house. I knocked on the door and Haley answered the door, "Hayes isn't going to school he said he was sick but I could tell he was crying, but he won't tell me why. So I guess we will walk by ourselves to school today."

While we were walking to school Haley asked, "So are you doing something after school today?"

I answered, "Actually I was going to ask you if you wanted to help me get ready for my date with Shawn tonight?" After I said that we both squealed and jumped up and down.

"Kayla should come and help to," Haley suggested and I nodded.

"I will tell her in first period," I said. We walked in the doors of the school and went to our lockers we grabbed our stuff and walked to first period. Once I got into class I saw Kayla and I asked her she squealed and said yes. I was so excited for the date that I thought about it the whole day.

Hayes' POV

I am so depressed. I wasn't going to school today so I didn't have to see Jadyn. After Haley left with Jadyn I was tempted to go to school so I was starting to catch up to them until I heard Jadyn say she had I date with Shawn. After I heard that I ran back to my house crying hysterically.

Shawn's POV

I am so happy! I texted Jadyn this morning and asked her if she wanted to go on a date tonight. She texted me back saying yes. I never told her what we were doing but it is going to be something that will bring back a lot of memories.

Jadyn's POV

School just ended and Kayla, Haley, and I are all walking back to my house. Once we got to my house I grabbed the keys from my bag and put it in the door. Once we were in we all ran up to my room and played some music. First we did our homework and sang along to the music. Then I went into my bathroom and got a shower while they were picking out my outfit. After I finished my shower I went into my room and saw the most beautiful outfit. It was an aqua tank top, aqua skinny jeans, aqua vans, and my aqua glasses. I went to the bathroom with my outfit and changed. Once I got back in my bedroom they started to style my hair. It ended up being a fishtail bun leading into a bun. I looked in the mirror and was amazed. "I hope Shawn likes it," I said worriedly.

"You look perfect, he will love it," Haley and Kayla said at the same time.

It was 5:00 by the time we were done so we decided to listen to music.
*********2 Hours Later**********

I heard a knock on my front door and I opened it. Once I opened the door I saw Shawn holding a bouquet of roses smiling at me. He handed me the roses and I took them and put them in a vase once I got back to the door Shawn said, "Wow Jadyn you look amazing."

"And so do you Mr. Mendes," I responded back to him. He was wearing what he wore to the concert that I went to. A black t-shirt, black jeans, a leather jacket, and black vans. "Jadyn did you hear what I said?" Shawn asked and I noticed that I was staring at him and zoning out.

"Sorry, no," I said blushing.

"It's okay. I said we should leave now because we have a tight schedule!" Shawn said with excitement in his voice. We left and got into Shawn's car. He started the car and drove out of the drive way. A couple minutes into the drive I had no idea where we were going but it looked kind of familiar. "Shawn where are we going?" I asked.

"I can't tell you because it's a surprise," Shawn answered with a smirk. He knew I hated surprises. A couple minutes later Shawn told me to put a bandana on my eyes and I did. Then suddenly I felt the car stop and Shawn get out. He then opened my door and helped me out. He lead me into these big doors and sat me down in a chair and left. I then heard him say, "Take off the blindfold." I took it off and what I saw made me cry. He was standing there on stage in a big arena. The stage that I first saw him perform at. And what I heard made me cry even harder. He started to sing imagination. The song we sang together at his concert on that stage in this arena. This is the best first date ever! I went up on the stage with him and sang. Once we finished singing we stared into each other's eyes. Then I noticed that Shawn started leaning in and I did too. Then we kissed. And it was amazing I could feel the sparks and fireworks in the kiss. Once we pulled apart Shawn said in amazement, "Woah." I blushed and so did he. Once we were done staring at each other we got in the car and he was driving me somewhere else. He gave me the blindfold again and I put it on. Once he stopped driving he took it off and I saw the ice skating rink we went to. He stood in front of me and said with a serious face, "Jadyn this place is very special to me because this is the place that I figured out that I liked you and if you wouldn't have almost fallen I wouldn't even be here with you on a date. I would still just be staring at you and thinking about how beautiful and perfect you really are." After he said that to me I smiled and had tears coming out of my eyes. I kissed him again after he said that.

Once we pulled apart we went into the car and left to go back to my house I told him he could stay tonight and I could drive with him to the airport tomorrow morning and he said okay. So we went into my house and into my bedroom. It was only 9:00 so we decided to get some snacks from my pantry. Once we got some candy and snacks we laid down in my bed and started to watch The Fault In Our Stars. I have watched that movie about 6 times and I still cry once Augustus dies. Once the movie was over I saw Shawn was already sleeping so I decided I would go to sleep too.
