Chapter 14

Shawn's POV
August 14, 2015

I have been thinking about Jadyn ever since I got to the tour bus yesterday night. I keep thinking about how I really like her and how I may not be able to tell her since I'm leaving in 3 days. I don't know what to do! Should I ask her out or should I wait till I see her again. If I wait to long she might already have a boyfriend. I think I know what I have to do.

Jadyn's POV

Today is Monday and I have to go to school...yay! *note the sarcasm*. It was 10:30 and I decided to get a shower and get dressed. Once I was done getting a shower I picked out my clothes which are a sunflower sundress, black sandals, and a black sun hat. After I was dressed I put on my makeup and painted my nails black. Once I was done getting ready I grabbed a banana and walked to Hayes' house. When I was almost to Hayes' house my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller ID and it was Shawn. I answered the phone.

S-Jadyn I have to tell you something very important meet me at the park near your house after school.

J-Okay. I'll be there.

I got off the phone and started wondering what was the important thing Shawn wanted to tell me, but I just shrugged it off and continued walking to Hayes' house once I got there Haley was knocking at the door. "Hey wait for me!" I yelled to her and she turned around and saw me running once I got to the door I was out of breathe even though I only ran 5 feet 😂. We both knocked on the door and Nash opened it. He smiled at Haley and glared at me. Once Nash walked to the kitchen Haley and I sat down on the couch. "What was that glare about?" Haley asked me.

"Well Nash doesn't want me to be friends with Hayes because I broke his heart one time when I hung out with Shawn more than Hayes and now Nash hates me," I explained. Haley nodded and Hayes came running down the stairs screaming because we were going to be late even though the school is like 2 blocks away.

Haley and I started laughing and told him, "It's okay we still have 30 minutes to get there." Once Hayes was done with his whole rant about how we were not going to make it to school in enough time we left. We got to school 10 minutes before the bell rings.

"See we told you! We still have 10 minutes before the bell rings," Haley and I said to Hayes laughing. We went to our lockers and met Kayla in class. Once the bell rang Mrs.Boyd was teaching and I was daydreaming and about Shawn and what he was going to tell me at the park.

"JADYN! Please pay attention in my class for once!" Mrs.Boyd yelled at me. Why do I always zone out in her class?
***********7th period************
We were in 7th period and Mr.Miller was assigning us a group project. "Okay guys we are going to do a group project and I will assign the groups," After he said that everyone groaned. "Don't whine, the projects are going to be about a person who had a legacy and the groups will be: Hayes, Jadyn, Kayla, and Haley." I stopped listening after he said our group.

"We could work on the project after school at my house," Hayes suggested. We all agreed then I remembered Shawn.

"I will probably be a little late is that okay?" I asked them and they said yea.

I walked over to the park and saw Shawn sitting on a swing. I sat down on the swing next to him. "Hi," I said.

Shawn's POV

I was sitting on a swing waiting for Jadyn. When she got here she sat next to me and said, "Hi."

"Hi," I said back shyly.

"This is what I want to tell you," I stated, "but I'm going to tell you in a song that I wrote." I got out my guitar and started singing:
