Chapter 1

Jadyn's POV

August 4th, 2015

I wake up to my alarm playing Something Big by Shawn Mendes. I close my eyes and think it is one day till my birthday. When I open my eyes again I see Shawn on a poster staring at me. I get up out of bed and get ready for school I put on my shirt that says "This Girl Loves Shawn Mendes" and my jeans I also put on my rainbow (which is Shawn's favorite color) vans. If you couldn't tell already I am obsessed with Shawn Mendes.

******At School******
I met Hayes outside of school and we walked in together. When we walked in Hayes said, "What are you doing for your birthday." "I don't really know it's probably going to be a small party at my house," I replied.

We both have the same 1st period which is math. Ugh! So we walk together to building 3.

Schedule:
1st- Math
2nd- Language Arts/Reading 👎
3rd- Science
4th- Chorus (oh ya did I mention I love to sing)
5th- Lunch
6th- Spanish 2
7th- History

In math I sat in between Kayla and Hayes. During the lesson I was zoning out so I got out my iPhone 6 and went on Instagram. When I was in the middle of taking a selfie Mrs.Boyd my math teacher said,
"Jadyn what is (x+5) times (x+17)?"

"Ummmm x^2+22x+85," I said back.

"That was correct, next time pay attention to me instead of your phone," Mrs.Boyd said harshly.

The bell rang and it was time to go to Language arts.

*****Skip to 4th period*****

We had open mic today which is when you can sing whatever you want to.

"Okay class, first we will have Jadyn sing," Mrs. Johnson happily said.

"Today I am singing Thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran," I said.

I started signing:
