"We all know the plan?" I asked walking onto the ships deck. The students, All Might and Hawks were all gathered around in their hero costumes.
"I'm going to fly around the island and find your niece. I received word she was no longer in the facility." Hawks nodded.
I pressed my lips into a firm line. I didn't completely trust him. He was pretending to be a double agent for the villains, but who knows if he was really just playing all of us.
"I'm going with him." Bakugou inclined his chin to Hawks. Not only did I trust him to find and protect Alina, I knew he would keep a close eye on Hawks.
"We're going to help search for villains with you at the facility." Deku nodded to Todoroki.
"I'm to stay with All Might on the ship and defend it if we are ambushed." Kirishima clenched his fists eagerly.
"Good." I faced the fast approaching island. I was going to have my daughter back and I was going to take down as many villains as I could. Hero honor be damned.
If I see Shigiraki or Overhaul. I'll kill them.
We split up as soon as we docked. I wished my students luck and took off towards the facility Hawks had directed us to.
"We've got company." Deku announced as we reached the front doors.
There were twelve men waiting for us armed to the teeth with weapons and unknown quirks.
"How about a little cover Todoroki?" I asked.
He nodded and used his fire and ice quirk to create steam that rose from the ground creating a thick fog.
We moved through the fog with ease taking out men one by one until we reached the doors.
"That was a little too easy." Deku hummed.
"Keep your guard up." I warned them. He wasn't wrong. It was a little too standard and a little too easy getting inside the building.
We followed the long hallway and came to a corridor that parted two different directions.
"You boys take the left, I'm going right."
"Are you sure?" Todoroki asked concerned.
"Stay together." I ordered before turning and following my own hall checking rooms as I walked.
I opened a heavy door and saw a large bed with shackles. I swallowed hard seeing blood stains on the iron clasps. I knew instinctively that this room had been hers.
Alina. My hands balled into fists as anger boiled inside of me. I would kill them all for hurting her.
Hearing shouts I hurried down the hall. Peering around the corner I could see a cloaked big guy and a cloaked much smaller guy. They were arguing.
"Shut up! The heroes are in the building and Overhaul wants her found before they find her." The little one snapped.
"It's your fault she escaped this time. You were supposed to knock her out first." The taller one shoved the smaller one.
"Yeah well if you were holding her like you were supposed to then I could have." The smaller one shoved back.
Are they talking about Alina?
I strained to hear better but a small shadow rushed by down the opposite hall. Making a quick decision I followed the shadow.
Following the shadow I stopped and peered around the corner where it had rounded and disappeared.
