Alina
"What's with the fancy digs here?" I asked Dabi as we approached a mansion in the forest.
After Dabi had shown up in my dorm room, he led me to a secluded place on the school grounds where Toga met us and hugged me close.
"No hard feelings about fighting you. Just makes me like you more. You're so cute in that uniform!" She giggled with a wink.
Dabi had allowed me time to change but only enough to grab undergarments, and my school uniform that was laid out.
Just as Kurogiri opened a gate it was explained that they had all escaped the island, through his gate. They weren't exactly sure how Overhaul made it out of the explosion, but they had Spinner out looking for him now.
For now we'd be waiting and hiding out here at this hidden mansion until our next move.
"A friend of Shigiraki's lent it to us while they are out of town for a while." Dabi explained as Toga skipped ahead.
"He has friends with money? Didn't you say you guys were holed up in a bar for a long time?"
"Yeah, this is a new friend. He owed us and it took some convincing." Dabi shrugged.
"I see." I pursed my lips. No doubt violence was used or at the very least a threat.
"The League is moving up in this world. We have big plans and big pay coming our way. Personally I don't give a damn about their plans. I have my own reasons for wanting to be here."
"And what are your plans?" I hummed glancing up at him.
His bright blue eyes stared back at me. Cold and unfeeling. Shoving his hands into his pockets he didn't answer, and instead walked ahead to the doors where Kurogiri waited for us.
It made me curious about Dabi. How he got his scars. Why he had turned into a villain. What had pushed him so far over the edge to be so....inhumane.
"Welcome Miss Alina. It is nice to see you once again." Kurogiri greeted me as I stepped inside the mansion.
"Thanks." I cleared my throat not sure how to be rude to someone polite but who was also a villain.
"Come with me, I'll show you to your room." Toga reached for my hands but Dabi smacked hers away.
"Not a chance. We have business to discuss." With that he grabbed my wrist and hauled me away to a grand staircase. Toga threw a tantrum on the foyer as we walked away.
"I shall see that her room has clothes, and essentials." Kurogiri called.
Dabi waved his free hand while his other was grasped firmly, but not painfully around my wrist.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"My office."
"Got yourself an office now? Nice." I rolled my eyes.
Being close to him reminded me of the small intimate space we shared in the shack. About how close we had gotten staying together. The strange urges and feelings that I had squelched down and nearly forgotten were bubbling back to the surface.
This time is different.
I'm not helpless.
I have more control of my quirk.
I'm here freely.
I wasn't kidnapped.
Bakugou and I have grown stronger.I can't- won't forget about him.
"Do you always mutter to yourself like that?" Dabi asked clamping his free hand around my mouth when we arrived at a set of double doors.
