She stared at him for a while, his baby blue eyes were sparkling and she blushed harder. She had this longing and desires inside her for him but she maintained a professional persona in front of him. "He is my boss," she kept reminding herself and kept repeating it in her head. Then he distracted her by asked her about her spare time so she spoke about her gaming and book reading which he wasn't so interested about but he paid enough attention.
"What about you?" she asked him, "You know what I do in my spare time, Anna" he replied and Anna nodded "yea, but besides that?" she asked him and he smirked, "Sometimes bar hopping with some of the shadows and..." his voice trailed off as he looked up from his food, embarrassed by what he was going to say next, "all good, I know the rest" she said and he looked at her confused, "I've heard about everyone's bar hopping conquests" and it made him more embarrassed which Anna noticed, "I'm sorry, boss" she said to him quickly and he waved her off, "Anna, remember call me Phil outside of the office" and she nodded, "yea I remember"
"Now how about we finish up our lunch and go for a walk then I take you back to my place and we have some dinner?" he asked her and she hesitated at first, "will you drive me home?" and he nodded, "Anna, I'm a southern gentleman and I never let a young lady like you take an uber home at night" he paused as he absentmindedly chewed on a fry, "besides, I hate it that you drive home alone every night but I'm happy that you accepted staying in the company apartment" and she smiled and nodded, "yea thanks for that, saved me a lot on rent" which made him smile at her. She noticed he had fangs on his top jaw which were noticeable whenever he smiled and it made her wonder, was he a vampire or something in his past life. He quickly shut his mouth then said, "yea, I know I have fangs and they are natural" and she nodded, "Yup, you do and they look great on you", he laughed at that.
Pretty soon they were done with lunch and he paid for the meal. She was getting used to him opening the doors for her and letting her play her music in his car.
It was a quiet ride to the park as he drove them there so she enjoyed the scenery. Once he parked his SUV at the designated parking spot and he once more opened the door for her and once his SUV was locked they walked into the park side by side.
