✧Carlos placed his arm around Raquelle's shoulder as they walked into the obgyn center of the hospital.
Oscar followed behind them because the teens needed an adult to accompany them.
They all took a seat in the waiting room after checking in at the front desk.
"You nervous?" Raquelle asked Carlos. He slouched in his seat, spreading his legs a little.
"Kinda." He mumbled. Raquelle nodded and turned away from him. Carlos looked down, noticing how she was bouncing her thigh quickly. Something she did when she was anxious.
He placed his hand on her thigh and her leg stilled. "What's wrong, ma?" He asked.
"I don't know... it's like reality is hitting me all at once. I'm actually pregnant." Raquelle explained as she rubbed her hands down her face.
It's been about a week and some change since they found out she was pregnant so Carlos was a little confused.
Nonetheless, he comforted her like he always does.
His hand moved to from her thigh to her stomach before looking up at her. "You still wanna keep the baby?" He asked.
She seemed to be having a debate in her head. Carlos could tell she really didn't know what to do.
"...Yeah." She nodded hesitantly. "I wanna keep it."
"Alright, then stop stressing. Our baby gon' come out with seven toes and four arms." He joked making her giggle.
"Oh my gosh, no he won't." She laughed. "He? Nah it's definitely a girl. Trust me." He told her.
"How do you know that?" She tilted her head at him. Carlos leaned over and put his ear to her stomach.
"Huh? You said tell mommy you're a girl, gotchu." He sat back up, smiling. "It's a girl. She told me herself." He shrugged.
She waved him off and looked back down at her phone. The door opened and a nurse walked out. "Raquelle Perez?"
Raquelle looked up. "Follow me back here." She smiled.
The two teens got up and Oscar got up as well. They all followed the nurse to the back into one of the rooms.
The nurse looked between Oscar and Carlos. "Uh— which one—"
Oscar started laughing. "I'm just here for supervision. Those are the parents." He pointed at the two teens.
