(Adelaide's POV)
The nerves had kicked in about an hour ago, that was probably cause I was actually on the plane for real. The amount of times I had reminded myself that this was not a dream during the past week was probably embarrassing. Zećira had been with me the whole time, she had been part of the Chelsea team for about a year so she had been in the same boat not too long ago. I was so grateful to have my best friend with me through this. I'm considered one of the best female strikers in the world, I don't know why I'm nervous.
It was almost like Zećira was a mind reader. "You are literally shaking, calm down they will love you." She said, trying to calm my nerves.
"I'm trying my hardest Ćira but it's a new team in a whole new country, it's real difficult to not be nervous." I told her trying not to let my voice waver cause of the nerves.
"Andy, I know exactly how you are feeling, I did the exact same thing as you. The team is quite literally the nicest group I have been around, don't worry for a single second." She assured me before putting her AirPods back in.
I contemplated her words for a short minute before trying to take her advice, I put my airpods in and pressed play. Only a little while and the real excitement begins.

(Third Person POV)
The rest of the flight had gone by fairly fast, Zećira's assurance had surprisingly put Adelaide's mind at ease for the most part. Coming out of the flight gate in a new place was always a surreal feeling for Andy. Messages flooded the girls phone the second she turned her phone off airplane mode, she scrolled through noticing new followers on instagram. Millie Bright, wow. Jessie Fleming, double wow. Sam Kerr, holy shit. If this is going to be the norm for her from now on, it will take some getting used to. She checked the comments on her latest post.

At this point Adelaide's head was spinning with shock and excitement. SAM FREAKING KERR COMMENTED ON HER POST!
"In a daze Ela?" Ćira asked Andy with her eyebrow raised in amusement.
"I think so, my idol literally commented on my post." Andy stated with her eyes wide.
"Hun you are gonna have to train with her everyday, get used to it before you end up with a broken jaw in front of the whole team." Zećira smirked.
"Wow ok, real helpful." Andy laughed, her voice laced with sarcasm. "Let's go so we actually get sleep tonight."
"By the way you talk most wouldn't believe you're younger than me, you're such a mum."
"I'm just responsible, now move your ass." The two Swedish women got in a taxi and headed to Zećira's and now Andy's apartment in Chelsea.
