This is why Adelaide doesn't party; the headache the next morning

This is why Adelaide doesn't party; the headache the next morning. Her head pounded at every given moment and it didn't help with how tired she was. The only thing she remembers of the night before was Fran jumping into the pool and everything before.

She slowly headed to the kitchen to avoid as much pain as possible, it could be worse right? I mean she wasn't sitting on her bathroom floor with her head in the toilet bowl.

When she turned away from the counter after taking pain killers she was met with the sight of a hungover Sam Kerr. What the hell happened last night for Sam to end up here?

"Chuck me some of whatever pain killers you just had please." Sam pleaded, her voice sounding shrivelled and dry.

"Hit us both hard then huh?"

"That wasn't even the worse we had ever gotten. Once we had a get together after winning the league at a local bar, we ended up in some little town near Reading. Crazy times." Sam laughed fondly over the memory.

"That's pretty wild, how did you end up here?" Adelaide asked. Sam seemed to ponder over her answer.

"In all honesty I don't even know, I was hoping you did. Ćira left to go get coffee and breakfast down town, she left a note."

"Thanks. Since you're here and in the same state as me wanna go watch a movie in my room?" Adelaide suggested.

"Uh do I, hell yes." With that the pair walked into Andy's room flopping dramatically onto her bed. "What are we thinking Ela?" Ela, that brought back a couple of memories from last night she didn't know she had. Closet, Sammy, Ela. Despite the rush of her memories gaining on her Andy quickly composed herself.

"I was thinking Clueless." Andy suggested with a smirk.

"Oh so you're a chick-flick kinda girl, I called it. Let's do it then Andy." They both smiled at each other fondly, a sparkle in their eyes they had with no other. They got to about an hour into the movie when Adelaide began to doze off, when her eyes finally shut her body went limp curled up next to Sam including her head which fell perfectly onto Sam's shoulder. It was now Sam's turn to gain back a few memories of last night's activities. Closet, "I like you too Ela", Andy asleep on her shoulder. Surely not, Sam thought. This couldn't be happening but it was and she couldn't deny it; She like likes Ela.

The pair were woken at the flash and click of an iPhone camera.

"God dammit, of course I left it on flash." Zećira not-so-mumbled to herself. Andy was the first to open her eyes and lift her head at the commotion, Sam soon following. The pair looked to each other with wide eyes.

"What the hell Ćira." Andy yelled out frustrated.

"I second that, what the hell." Sam backed her up.

"You were sleeping and it looked so cute, I just had to take a photo. You'll thank me later." Zećira sent them a wink and bolted, Sam and Andy were too tired to chase after her.

"Sammy, what actually happened last night." An eerie silence made a sudden appearance.

"I-i don't know Ela."

"Don't lie to me Sammy, it's all over your face."

"I think you should ask Zećira privately, she will give you a better answer than I will."

"If I don't want to ask Ćira?" The two were mere centimetres away from each other. Andy did piece together what happened, she gained her full memory back in her sleep but hearing it from Sam would prove it wasn't just a dream.

"I'm no good for you Ela."

"Don't be like that, you and I both know damn well what happened." Sam was conflicted but that didn't stop her longing for Adelaide. Their eyes were flickering back and forth between each other's eyes and lips before closing the almost non-existent gap to begin with. Their lips moulded together perfectly, they completed each other like the final piece of a puzzle. Adelaide's hands rested on Sam's cheeks whilst Sam pulled her in close needing more contact.

They were both gasping for breath by the time they parted, they sat there staring into only each other's eyes.

"I'll ruin you El."

"Then ruin me Sammy."
