Day two of training was much different to the first

Day two of training was much different to the first. The first day was all about "getting back into the swing of things" according to Magda & Ćira, the second day would be "proper hard core."

The sun wasn't out like it was the day before so all in all the day wasn't as nice. Paul, their general manager had them running lap after lap with very little recovery time before playing games against each other. Of course he put his two best strikers, Andy and Sam against each other, he even stooped to the point of splitting up Andy and Zećira. In a way they both saw that as an advantage, they knew each other's strengths & weaknesses. Paul had Sam & Andy step on out.

"Rock paper scissors for first choice?" Sam suggested

"Perfect by me." Andy was quick to reply back. Sam gave her signature smirk which sent butterflies to Andy's stomach. Sam drew rock but Andy was already a step ahead having chosen paper. "Told you it was perfect by me Kerr." Andy sassed at her returning a smirk.

"Yeah yeah." Sam replied acting hurt.

The game started as Andy passed to Guro, who passed to Fran. Fran gained them ground but Jorja had stolen the ball for the other team. Thank god for Jessie Fleming or they probably would've scored, Andy could tell Jorja was setting Sam up for the goal. Andy had gained possession once more, Erin was hot on her tail and she could see others gaining on her. Andy made the split second decision to go for it, Zećira saw the ball coming and reach for it but it slipped past and hit the top left corner of the net.

Cheers came from her team, she smiled proudly at the sound of her team mates. The ball is brought back to the centre for Sam to start. She passes to Erin who passes to Lauren, Millie and Cerys had made multiple attempts of stealing back but were just unsuccessful. The ball was passed to Sam who made an attempt on goal, Ann-Katrin just saved it by a finger tip. Andy cheered loudly at her teammate's incredible save.

The game continued for another 20 minutes, Sam had scored a goal for her team making the score even. The whole group was fired up with 5 minutes left, Andy was back in possession and weaving in and out of the other team's defenders. When the upcoming field had become to dangerous to risk it she passed back to Millie who went around the outside leaving enough space for Adelaide to set herself up, the ball came her way and she successfully got it. Just before Jorja got to her she sent the ball flying into the back of the net. More excited shouts erupted from her team. Paul blew the whistle signalling the end of game.

The teams lined up, one enthusiastic the other with their heads slightly hung to high five each other. They may all be on the same team and it may only be training but they were all so competitive. At the end of practised Andy decided she would take a few minutes to stretch out to avoid any soreness tomorrow. Midway through her stretch routine she noticed a shadow approaching her. She looked up with the sunset shining in her eyes, it was Sam.

"Hey superstar, how was that for a second day?" Sam asked her.

"Considering we won, I would say pretty good hey." Adelaide replied cockily.

"Damn superstar has sass. Come on I'll walk with you to your car." Sam reached her hand out. Andy took it and got up. They walked to the car park in a semi-awkward silence. Before they reached Andy's car same spoke up. "You play really well, I can't wait till our first game and of course a rematch from today."

"You're on Kerr. Can't wait to play with you. See ya." Andy replied opening the door.

"See ya superstar." With that Sam jogged out further to get to her car.

When Andy got back to her and Zećira's house she was instantly grilled by her friend on where she had been and why she took so long

When Andy got back to her and Zećira's house she was instantly grilled by her friend on where she had been and why she took so long.

"I just stayed a bit longer to stretch on the field, plus I got a chance to actually talk to Sam." Adelaide told her friend making sure she knew she didn't do anything stupid.

"Oh wow, I thought I would never see the day when you miss Ela spoke to her without running away." Zećira retorted with a laugh in her voice.

"Yeah yeah real mature Ćira." Andy replied before heading off to her room.
