"Greenie!"
The urgent call of someone's voice outside his treehouse woke him up, he could faintly hear the sound of Bark's claws against the wooden floor of his house through the planks of his floor.
"Greenie! Get up!" The voice called for him again and he sat up on his bed, forgetting about rubbing his eyes or stretching. He stood up and stumbled his way to the door, opening it while struggling to put on his boots.
(M/n) was surprised to spot Alby standing there, his sight shifting from his house to the direction of the Homestead, a deep frown on his face as he looked just a little bit stressed out, "Alby?"
His voice caught Alby's attention, who had been staring the way he came from, but (M/n) only received a brief glance before he looked away again, his frown getting noticeably deeper and huffing in annoyance.
"Come with me, greenie, now!" Fully awake, (M/n) grabbed the ladder and hurried to place it down, his hands shaking as he tried to secure it as quickly as possible before going down. He almost lost sight of Alby by the time he was walking on the dirt, but he took off jogging after the Leader of the Glade.
He didn't have the time to ask Alby what was going on and why he was needed at the Homestead, the sound of a commotion going on inside of it was pretty much all he had to hear, even if he was still unsure of why he specifically was called there.
"You need to rest! Please, Gally!"
So that's why he was called...
They ran faster and soon entered through the front door of the Homestead. (M/n) watched rather surprised how almost every Keeper was holding or pushing Gally back, who had managed to make his way down the stairs from his room. Thankfully, they were being mindful of his ankle injury, even if Gally was putting up quite the fight against everyone's hold on him, and... He was certainly winning.
(M/n) gaped at the situation and turned to look at Alby, who was pinching the bridge of his nose, "What's happening, exactly?"
Alby sighed and turned to look at him, irritation palpable on his face.
"Gally refuses to stay in bed and rest, and you were of great help yesterday," he started explaining, to which (M/n) nodded in realization, "So I called you to..." Alby trailed on as he noticed how Gally seemed to be getting the upper hand against the guys retaining him back, gaining strength instead of losing it.
"Take care of him," (M/n) finished for him when Alby made sure to guard the door in case Gally escaped. He sighed when he inevitably thought that his day was gonna be like it was the previous evening, making a stubborn Gally less stubborn and more obedient. It wasn't gonna be easy, especially because he had to take care of Gally for the whole duration of the day, unlike the two hours he had to stay around with him.
(M/n) was just hoping he will have the patience to do it all by himself.
He took a deep breath and released an equally deep exhale before walking closer and standing within Gally's field of vision.
"Gally," he spoke loud enough for his voice to be heard over the sound of struggling, such as groans and grunts, and everyone in the room witnessed how the tall blond stopped putting up a fight, his green eyes locked onto (M/n)'s frame standing directly in front of him, and how the way his expression changed almost made him look ashamed, "You promised me..."
Really slowly, everyone's hold started to loosen up, releasing their grip on Gally as they realized he won't be fighting anymore, at least not while the greenie is staring at him so seriously.
"You would rest, did you not?" The sight of a guilty and ashamed Gally was certainly a sight for all of those around, even more so when they saw him glancing away and nodding.
