Plagued Love

The two continued to chat during the morning. Zeltron kept his gaze focused on Carnelian's face while Carnelian's gaze continued to flicker to Zeltrons lips, faint pink dotted his face each time. The two were beginning to find it harder to focus on the conversation.

"I should probably get going, I'll see you lafter on if you aren't busy?"

Carnelian placed his empty cup of the counter, smiling sheepishly at Zeltron, who nodded and came over, hugging his friend.

"See you later."

The two continued to hug, Carneilian got another whiff of Zeltrons shampoo, savouring the wonderful scent of mint. Zeltron on the other hand couldn't stop hugging his friend. He didn't want to let go but, unfortunately he had no choice.

Carnelian waved a farewell to Zeltron who wave goodbye as well. Afterwards, Zeltron sat at the table alone. Today was his morning off, since he'd been working quite hard and needed a bit of a break.

That afternoon Zeltron set up his office and began to organize the drawers, when a patient, a young woman, walked in. She looked to be in her early 20's and looked quite embarrassed.

"Good morning doctor. I know this may seem odd but, I'm not sick or anything....my partner and it had...you know....a month ago and I'm feeling odd"

Zeltron nodded and sat her down taking her heartbeat before moving to her stomach, something faint beating there.

"It's likely that you're a month pregnant, so take it easy and rest up. Stay away from the foods you can't handle and don't drink alcohol of any kind, even after you give birth."

The woman nodded and smiled leaving the office. Zeltron hummed to a song in his head as he doodled on a sheet of paper, before he knew it he'd drawn mini Carnelian holding hands with mini Zeltron. He tore off the piece of art and carefully put it in his pocket, blushing slightly under his mask. 

"Well I'm completely screwed"

Zeltron said aloud to himself
