I read over the note, it was a whole page actually but whatever, one last time before putting it on Miguel's mobile home table.
I took a rock and placed it on top of there so it wouldn't fly away.
I was about to get in the car when i saw Wendy.
"Hey!" She said.
"Are you guys going already?" She asked.
"Uhm, yeah im kinda sad to leave but we uhm.. yeah we have to go." I said.
"Miguel talked to me about last night yknow. You seem like a kind girl." She replied.
"Thank you.." I said.
She hugged me and i hugged her.
"Your son is amazing mrs. Mora." I said.
"Call me Wendy." She replied.
"Your son is amazing Wendy." I corrected.
"I know." She said smiling.
My mom signaled for me to get in the car and i did.
I got in the backseat and waved Wendy goodbye. Miguel wasn't awake yet.
We rode away.
"Did you sleep well last night?" My mom asked.
"Oh uhm, yeah i slept fine." I replied.
"What time did you go to bed?" She asked.
"Around like 10ish or something." I replied.
"And what time did you go to Paris?" She asked.
"Wha-" I said shocked.
How does this woman know everything!?
"Miguel knocked on my window at 10:15." I replied.
"And what happened in Paris?" She asked.
"Uhm.. I don't.. We kissed and hes now my boyfriend." I said.
She gasped.
"Really!?" She asked.
I nodded.
"My baby finally has a good boyfriend!" She said.
"Wait u kissed?" My dad asked.
"Yeah.." I Replied.
He looked at my with a disgusted face.
"Oh shut up." I said to him.
"Tell me everything!" My mom said.
"You don't need to know everything." I replied.
"Im your mom!" She said.
"I don't ask you to tell me everything about when you and dad kissed!" I replied.
"She has a point there." My dad said.
"Alright fine." My mom said.
I put on my headphones and put on my Miguel playlist.
My Miguel playlist consists of songs I listened to with him. Songs that remind me of him.
I listened to it on repeat im the car, the airport and the plane.
I miss him already.
Miguel's pov
I woke up at around 10:30. Ive like never in my left slept so long.
"Hey mom." I said when I walked out of my room.
"Hey sweetie!" She replied.
I walked outside, expecting to see y/n.
I saw nothing.
The whole house was empty and it seemed like no one had lived there in over a decade. Lifeless.
"Where's y/n?" I asked.
"Oh uhm.. She left this morning.." My mom replied.
"She left a note tho." She added.
She pointed at a piece of paper with a rock on top of it.
I picked it up and went to my room.
'Dear Mikey, im sorry for leaving without saying goodbye, but I couldn't bring myself to knock on ur window.
I know that if I did it i would've burst out into tears and i wouldn't be able to leave you. Im sad to be going back to florida, mainly because of that. I love you Miguel. Don't you ever forget that. I don't really know what else to say because you know i love you and you know ill miss you. You are one of the kindest people ive ever met and please stay that way. Be kind to everyone you see. Okay at this point this note sounds like im dead but whatever. Im going to miss you so, so much Miguel. I don't know what to do without you.

I felt tears running down my cheeks.
Its the fact that she knew she write me a literal PAGE of stuff she wanted to tell me.
My mom knocked on my door.
I quickly wiped my tears.
"Uhh, come in." I said.
"Hey hun.." She replied.
My mom always knows how im feeling so wiping my tears was basically useless actually.
She sat down next to me and pit her arm around me.
I felt more tears running down my cheeks again.
"Im really gonna miss her.." I said.
"I know you will sweetie.." She replied.
Im really gonna miss my infinity girlfriend.
I like being able to say that.
