I got home a few hours later.
My mom had told me before i left that she'd pick me up from the airport but since the voicemail, we hadn't talked.
I picked up my luggage and walked into the spot where everyone's family or whoever was standing.
I looked around, seeing people walk up to other people, just as happy as i was 2 days ago when i saw Miguel.
Then i saw her.
My mom.
She was standing there, looking extremely nervous. Tears in her eyes.
"Mom.." I said, i ran up to her.
"Y/n.." She said, she hugged and held me.
"Oh i was so worried.." She said.
She put her hand on the back of my head and held me.
"Mom i missed you." I said.
"Oh baby i missed you two.." She replied.
"I was scared you weren't gonna come home.." She said.
"Ill always come home.." I whispered.
She pulled away and put her hands on my cheeks.
She looked me in the eye.
"Oh sweetie.." She said.
"Ma.." I replied.
"Im gonna help you." She said.
"What?" I asked.
"Im gonna help you audition." She said, smiling with the tears still in her eyes.
"What?" I repeated.
"Im gonna help you audition." She said.
"But- Why?" I asked.
"I want to be apart of it. Of your life. And i dont mean like your life now i mean your future. I want to be that one actress's mom when they went to see Beyonce together." She said.
"Zendeya?" I asked.
"Yes her!" She replied.
I smiled at her.
"I love you mom." I said.
"I love you too." She replied.
"Also, I don't have tickets to Beyonce if you were thinking that." She added.
"I wasn't." I said.
