We drove home and we walked inside.
Wendy was nowhere to be seen and there was a note on the counter.
'Hey kids, im in bed. Im not feeling 100 so im going to sleep. Hope you had fun!'
"Oh." Miguel said.
"Im sure she'll be okay.." I replied, rubbing my hand on his shoulder.
"Im just gonna check on her." He said.
I nodded and he walked away.
I sat down at the counter and got out my phone.
I looked through all the pictures and videos i took tonight.
I saw a bunch of things but i noticed one thing.
In all the videos i took, i was smiling.
I was happy, i was home.
Acting, actors, basically anything that had to do with those 2 things, felt like home.
My mom hadn't replied to my voicemail yet but i assumed she was asleep.
She always goes to bed early.
Miguel came back.
"Hey!" I said.
"Is she okay?" I asked.
"Yeah she's fine she's just got a headache. Im getting her some medication." He replied.
"Can i help with anything?" I asked.
"Not really." He replied.
He went into a cabinet and got out some medicine.
He was about to walk away when i realized.
"Water." I said.
"Oh yeah!" He replied.
He walked back into the kitchen and got a glass of water.
"Thanks." He said.
"No problem." I replied, picking up my phone.
He walked away and i made a post on insta.
It was pictures of the whole night and then lastly, a pic of Mason and Miguel screaming, looking like 2 idiots.
I captioned it '"i had the best day with you, today."🎃' based on the Taylor Swift song, the best day. Obviously.
I uploaded it and immediately got some likes, its weird how into the actors some of these fans are.
I opened tiktok and I immediately saw the pictures I posted in an edit.
