Ayani ' s POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar place. The place was all white... I hated that.
"Beep...Beep...Beep..." I hear as I realize something- I'm in a hospital.
I sat up, noticing I was hooked up to a heart monitor.
Sighing, the door opens, revealing a nurse.

"How are you feeling, Ayani?" The nurse asks.
I mumbled a "good" under my breath, as she walks out, letting in my visitors.
Naruto runs in, jumping onto the end of the bed, Sakura stands next to Sasuke on the side of the bed ,and Naomi and Kakashi sat down on the other side.

"Would anyone like to tell me why I'm here?" I ask, irritated by the brightness of the room.
"At the Land of Waves, you almost killed us!" Naruto yells, making me shocked beyond belief.
Kakashi takes over. " What he meant to say was, at the Land of Waves, once Haku and Zabuza died, you ran off to fight a huge amount of Gatou ' s ninja. After that, the curse mark took over you..." he scratches the back of his head and smiles sheepishly."... Then you kinda... almost killed Sasuke."

My eyes widen as I look at Sasuke
He stared back, a little fearful of me.
I look at my lap and sigh.

"Er... anything else?" I ask as I look at Kakashi.

"That's pretty much it..." I look down sadly. How could I almost kill Sasuke...? Stupid curse mark.
"But, I recommended all of you for the Chuunin Exams." He hands all of us a entrance sheet, but Naomi grabs mine.
"You won't be participating." Naomi states.

"WHAT......?!" I bark, causing everyone to back away from me.
"You heard me. You won't be participating in this."
"YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! I ENTER IF I WANT!" I snarl, causing Naomi to get angry.
"I AM YOUR OLDER SISTER AND YOU DO WHAT I WANT YOU TO!"
"YOU ARE NOT OUR MOM! YOU DONT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO DO WHAT YOU WANT! STOP ACTING LIKE HER! YOU NEVER WILL BE HER, YOU NEVER WILL REPLACE HER!" I growl, crying.

I get up and go to the bathroom, to change out of the hospital gown I'm in.

Sasuke ' s POV

Ayani stormed off into the bathroom as Naomi starts sobbing.
What. Just. Happened.
I watch as Ayani comes out wearing a red hoodie, and black shorts, hood up over her head.
She opens the door, without a word.

"Ayani... wait!" All of us shout, exept for Naomi.
She turns around, tears in her blood red Sharingan.
"Don't DARE follow me..." She yells, running out the door.
Naomi retorts. "NO ONE WILL! CAUSE NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU! "

Ayani ' s family is falling apart more than it already was...

I run after Ayani, not allowing her family to end up like mine.

Ayani ' s POV

I run out of the hospital and out Konoha's Gates.
How dare she try and replace our mother... she's lucky I didn't kill her!
I keep running until I reach a river.
Sighing, I look into the water looking at my reflection.
"I'm a pathetic excuse for an Uchiha...." I cry.

"Really? If you say that, you are just making it true." I hear Sasuke say.
I tense. "Why did you follow me....?" I say coldly, yet softly.
"Hn." He impresses me with his vocabulary.
I get up and pin him to a tree. "Why did you follow me!?"
"Because I care about you." He seems to say, not convincing me.
"TELL ME THE REAL REASON!" I grab his throat.
Sasuke doesn't flinch.

I hear footsteps.
Kakashi, Sakura and Naruto arrive and look at me, Naruto dragging Naomi.
I jump away from Sasuke, and take out a kunai.
I growl, making everyone not very excited to get close to me.
"I said to leave me alone," I say.
Kakashi starts acting smart on me. "Actually, you said not to follow you. And we didn't. We took a different way here."

Smart mouth.
I look at Naomi.
I tackle her to the ground.
"Don't you DARE replace mother...." I take my kunai and put it to her throat.
"Whoah! AYANI STOP!" Naruto shouts.
I look towards him, baring my teeth.
"You don't understand," I say getting up.
"NONE OF YOU UNDERSTAND!!!" I finally burst, crying and shaking uncontrollably.
Sasuke puts his hand on my shoulder.
"I understand," he states.
I instinctively lean on him.

Sasuke ' s POV

Ayani suddenly leans into me.
I tense not knowing what to do in this situation.
So I just do what my heart wanted me to do.
I hugged her.
It seemed like she didn't mind.
I smile the faintest smile, knowing,
That I helped her out.
