Strangers Again

In the crowd, we were but strangers passing by,
With shared spaces and fleeting moments, not knowing why.
A twist of fate, a chance encounter, we collided,
Two souls entwined, in a world newly decided.

Once familiar figures, now distant and unknown,
What once was ours, now just a memory to be thrown.
The laughter we shared, the secrets we confided,
Lost in the shadows, where love once resided.

We dance in the rhythm of strangers again,
No longer bound by whispers of what could have been.
Our hearts once beat in harmony, synchronized,
Yet now, worlds apart, love lost, estranged and paralyzed.

Oh, how cruel fate can be, to bring us close and then erase,
The tenderness, the warmth, love's everlasting embrace.
Yet, amidst the pain, a flicker of hope remains,
That someday, someway, we'll find each other in the rains.

For even as strangers, there lingers a spark,
A glimmer of connection, etched deep within the dark.
Perhaps destiny will bring us back together, once more,
To rewrite our story, pick up where we left off, restore.

Until then, we wander aimlessly, lost in the abyss,
Sailing through uncharted waters, reminiscing on the kiss.
Strangers we became, but strangers we are not,
For deep within our souls, we will forever be caught.

Strangers again, we may forever remain,

But the memories we share will forever remain untamed.
So, let us cherish the moments, the love we once held,
For in this vast universe, we are but strangers compelled.
