In the depths of selfish desire's lair,
Dwells a dark force, greedy and unfair.
Its insatiable hunger knows no bounds,
Consuming hearts, wreaking havoc all around.Greediness, a monster with fiery eyes,
Spreads its venom, in a web of deceit it lies.
It whispers in the ears of the weak,
Promising riches, making them seek.It lures with promises of wealth and gold,
As it slowly wraps its chains, uncontrolled.
In its clutches, compassion becomes rare,
Leaving in its wake a world stripped bare.Driven by a hunger that cannot be sated,
Greediness rears its ugly head unabated.
It devours joy, kindness, and peace,
Leaving only emptiness, a cold release. Those under its spell, lose their way,
Trapped in a cycle they cannot betray.
Their hearts are tarnished, their souls decay,
As greediness tightens its grip day by day.But amidst this darkness, a glimmer of light,
A fight against greediness, with all our might.
For in unity, we can break free,
From the clutches of this curse, greed's decree.Let compassion guide us, in every choice we make,
And generosity bloom, with each step we take.
For the true wealth lies not in material gain,
But in the love we share, and the bonds we maintain. So let us shed this cloak of greed,
Embrace humility, sow the seeds,
Of a world where love and kindness prevail,
And the grip of greediness, we forever derail.
