Too tired to continue living in this cruel world

In a world so cruel, where shadows fall,
I often question, why do I stand tall?
The weight of burdens, heavy on my chest,
Leaves me weary, in need of a rest.

Each step I take, through deepening despair,
Can't help but wonder, does anybody care?
In a sea of faces, all turned away,
I seek solace, as my spirit starts to fray.

But amidst the darkness, a flicker of light,
Guiding me through this never-ending night,
It whispers softly, don't give up just yet,
For life's beauty, you haven't seen, don't forget.

In each sunrise painted with hues so gold,
In every story waiting to be told,
In gentle touch and laughter's sweet embrace,
There lies hope, on which my heart can trace.

Though suffering defines this world's cruel plight,
Compassion exists, within souls shining bright.
For every tear shed, a hand wipes it dry,
Reminding me, there are reasons to defy.

And so, though tired, I'll keep my head held high,
With resilience, I'll navigate this sky.
For even in darkness, stars still gleam,
And within this cruel world, love redeems.
