My mind, so weary, begins to crack
As the weight of the world pushes down on my back
Emotions unravel like tangled yarn
As I struggle to hold back the flood in my heart
Tears stream down in a river of pain
As I try to find something to keep me sane
The pieces of my soul lay shattered on the floor
And I wonder if I can take much more
But in the midst of this breakdown, I find a thread
A glimmer of hope, a light ahead
I pick up the fragments, piece by piece
And slowly, I begin to find release
I may be broken, but I am not defeated
I will rise up, no longer feeling cheated
Through this breakdown, I will find my strength
And build myself back, mended at length.
