(A week later)

A week had passed, and things had been going pretty well. But needless to say, there had been some hiccups. Over on Marientte's end, she and Chat Noir had to deal with the Mime; an akumatized Fred Haprèle. Not only was he Mylène Haprèle's dad, but he was also a terrific actor who had been tricked out of the leading role of his current production. In the end, after the Mime had been defeated and released, he had been given his role back and the play had been a smash hit. And all the while of the Mime's attack, Marientte had been trying to fix a mistake she had made. She had done Alya a favor as Ladybug, by recognising her in the crowd after an akuma attack as the reporter filmed the interaction. But after Alya showed her the video, Marinette accidentally deleted it when Alya went to get her laptop. She did attempt to fix the mistake and recreate the video, but ended up coming clean to Alya. Her luck turned out when Alya revealed that she already saved the video, but she still managed to give her an exclusive interview from Ladybug.

However, things had been quite on Jim's line of work. Granted he still had to train for his duel with Draal in two days, but his progress was going very well in such a short amount of time. But that would change on one fateful night...

It was a peaceful night in Arcadia. The streets were quiet, and all inhabitants were in their houses and enjoying the night. But the silence was interrupted by a boulting truck barreling down the street, the tires squealing in protest as the reckless driver continued down the road. As his knees controlled the steering wheel, the driver's hands flew around in the air, acting as if he was playing the drums while he hummed along to the rock song playing on the radio, eyes closed as he sped past a house. The driver soon skidded to a stop and backed up a bit before putting the truck in park, while a soft growl came from the bushes as a head emerged from the plants, watching the automobile closely.

The driver; unaware of the figure in the bushes, stepped out of his truck as he was still jammed to the rock music that blasted through his headphones. While dancing to the loud music, he pulled open the back hatch and yanked a package from underneath a few more, before continuing up to the house, throwing the package around as he danced. With the careless driver being distracted, the creature that had been watching him, jumped from the bushes, the sound of his rapidly moving feet blended with his raspy breathing as he headed for the unguarded truck. The creature quickly invaded the truck, and set its gaze onto the numerous boxes inside the truck, leaving the driver unaware as he advanced on the steps, dropping the fragile box as he did so.

"Whoa!" The delivery man cried as the box leaned a little too far to the side, before he caught it. Meanwhile, the creature that invaded the truck was sniffing the wooden crates, the objects rustling as he shifted the pieces around. The still mysterious creature moaned before suddenly jumping onto the crate, showing any who was witnessing the event just what creature it was... a goblin. The goblin stood on all fours, watching his surroundings as his long, nimble fingers wrapped onto the taillight, his head popping out from the bed of the truck.

"Wa-cha-ka!" the lead goblin called out, quietly waved for the little scavenger group he had brought along to come out of the bushes. Immediately after he did, a lookout goblin popped out and landed next to the truck.

"Ola-mola!" the lookout called out, prompting three more goblins to crawl out of the bushes and take over the truck. The tiny group then began searching through the random packages as one kept lookout, glaring at the driver who mimicked a guitar riff and rang the doorbell. While the other goblins searched, one had found a black marker, breathing heavily at his discovery. He turned around to face the others with a formal look, before swiftly drawing a leader-like mustache above his lip. As most of the other goblins admired his new look, speaking their native language to their now known leader, the last goblin waved the group to a package they couldn't open.
