Hyunjin's pov

"Hyunjin, what happened?" My mother asked as I stormed into the council room with teary eyes

They were still planning the wedding, and they all looked a bit confused when they saw me being upset

"My apologies, your graces but I won't marry your son" I said as I looked at the king and Queen, who looked a bit shocked

My mother got off her chair and walked to me and she hugged me but my father...

I saw in his eyes that he was getting mad

"Tell me what happened, my sweet boy," my mother asked with a soft smile

"The prince said if-if I wasn't a good h-husband, he w-will feed m-me to his d-dragon" I couldn't hold my tears anymore so I started to sob

My mother shushed me and put my head on her shoulder

"I'm so so sorry for our son, your grace he must be overracting," my father said

"I will talk to our son, my lord" the Queen said as  she got off her chair and walked out the council room

"Come my sweet boy, I'll bring you to your Chamber" my mother said as she puts her arm around my shoulder and we walked out of the council room

"This marriage must be continued" I heard my father saying and I actually wanted to open my mouth but my mother shook her head

Bang chan's pov

"Did you see his face, Nightshade that little bitch is probably crying by his mother" I said to my dragon, Nightshade as I was petting her

"CHAN!" I suddenly heard someone screaming and I saw my mother walking to me and she looked furious

"Hello, mother" I smiled as she came closer to me but I felt a slap on my cheek

"What have you done! Have you lost your mind, stupid boy!" She started yelling at me

"What's wrong, mother?" I asked as I rubbed my cheek that she slapped, it was burning red

"You know what I am talking about, the son of the Hwangs" she said and she looked at me

"Oh him, my fiancee" I smiled

"Yes, him what have you said to him?" She asked me as she crossed her arms and stamped with her feet impatient

"That I would love to marry him and that we are going to be a good couple" I smiled and my mother expressions changed

"Didn't you say to him that if he wasn't a good husband that you will feed him to your dragon?" My mother asked

"Mother... I would never say that, you know that" I said and I put a hand on her arm and she looked dumbfounded at me

"Was he telling a lie?" She asked and I shrugged my shoulders

"I would never threaten anyone mother and absolutely not my fiancee,  I'm so grateful for that you and father let me marry him. House Hwang is an old and our best ally " I smiled and hugged my mother, and my mother slowly hugged me

"Now go back to father that our wedding has to be continued," I said, and my mother nodded, still a bit confused

My mother turned around and walked away, I smiled at her, but I stopped smiling when she disappeared

I rolled my eyes, and I walked to the side of my dragon

"Come, Nightshade, let's bring you back to the pit and the other dragons," I said, and I started climbing up her back, and she flew us away
