Hyunjin's pov

After dinner, everyone went back to their chambers, and I was currently getting ready for bed when someone knocked on my door

"Come in," I said, and the maid opened the door, and I saw my parents standing and smiling. I was a bit confused

"Father, mother." I smiled, and they walked inside, and father closed the door behind him

"We need to talk, my boy," my mother said, and I already thought, "This is not good."

"The marriage is going to continue, so it means you marry the prince," y father said, and my eyes slightly widened, but I knew it was going to happen

I sighed, but I nodded

My mother walked to me and got on her knees, and she grabbed my hand

"I know you don't want to, but you will make us so proud, my prince," she whispered, and I smiled

"Come, love, the coach is ready," my father said, and my mother got up, and she kissed my forehead

"What? are you two leaving?" I asked them concerned

"My sweet, strong boy, we will see you again at the wedding, and I will write to you every week," she said softly as she walked to the door

"Make us proud, son, and don't mess it up," my father said, and the door got opened and closed. I couldn't believe it they were gonna leave with me, at this strange place

I walked to the window and I saw a coach driving away, it was heavy raining outside

"May the triple moon goddess guide my parents," I thought, and I touched my necklace

Suddenly I heard a knock on the door and I said "Come in" and the door got opened

A young maid walked into my room with blankets

"Hello, ser I came to bring you some blankets," she smiled

"You can put on the bed, please" I said, and the maid nodded as she put the blankets on my bed

"Have good night, ser" she said as she left my room, and I looked back outside

The next morning

"May the maiden protect the young girls from those who would danger to her chastity, may the mother protect her children and show them their mother lovd, may the crone lead us the path and lend her wisdom

May they all protect us" I was currently praying at the small chapel at the castle

"There are you," but I got interrupted by nobody else, but the prince

"You know it's rude to distrub someone when they are praying," I said, and the prince sighed

"My mother, the Queen, asked me if I could show a bit around, and of course I had to say yes, I wish I couldn't," he muttered

"So, are you coming?" He asked, and I got up and I put back my necklace on and I turned around and I started walking

"So, who were you praying to not to the new gods?" He asked

"That's none of your business" I said

"Don't be so grumpy " he joked

After a few minutes

"What are we doing at the dragon pit?" I asked the prince

"Well, we could use the old ways like on the foot or horse," he said, and I heard some noises coming, and I saw the large and monstrous dragon coming out, Nightshade the prdragon

"But I thought we could also use my dragon." he smiled, and the head of the dragon came close to his

"Hey, girl," he whispered and kissed its head

"Come pet her, or are you scared?" He smirked
