Hyunjin's pov, few days later

I was currently in my private chambers with my handmaidens, Katherine and jaehaera

''Look your , I made a little romper for the little one" Katherine said and she showed me a romper for the baby and I smiled ''It's lovely, Katherine''

I got off my chair and I walked to the table and I suddenly didn't feel good and I felt a weird pain in my stomach and I suddenly realized it was wet under me ''the baby is coming'' I thought. Jaehaera saw it and she walked to me and she looked concerned and I looked at her with worried eyes, Katherine looked also at us

''It's time'' I quitley groaned and I felt getting weaker and I leaned against the table and Katherine and Jaehaera walked to me but I stopped them

''Jaehaera get.. ngh C-chan and the m-midwives" I groaned out of the pain and Jaehaera nodded and she ran out of my chamber

''Katherine?'' I asked her and she walked to me

''Yes, your grace?'' she asked me concerned while she put a arm around my shoulder

''Promise me and the almighty mother that you stay with me this whole time'' I said serious and she nodded

''Of course, your grace, I will never leave you'' She said and I nodded

''Help me to my bed'' I said and Katherine nodded

Jaehaera's pov

I was running through the castle halls trying to find his grace and then I saw the dowager queen talking to a nurse and then she saw me and she smiled but soon her smile fade away when she saw my worried look. ''Is everything alright?'' She asked me

''It's Hyunjin, it's time'' I said and her eyes widended

''The baby?'' The dowager queen asked and I nodded

"Where is the king?'' I asked her and she told me where the king was, he was at the council room discussing new laws and the dowager queen was on her way to get the midwives and nurses. I ran to the council room and when I bargained into the council room they stared at me

"I'm so so sorry, your grace but it's hyunjin" I said concerned and the king looked at me

"What's wrong, Jaehaera?" He asked me

"It's time, your grace" I said serious and the council members looked at the king

"What time, lady?" One of the council members asked

"The king consort is in labour" I said and the king's eyes widened and he got off his chair

"Uhm council is dismissed!" He said and he started to walk away from them and I followed him

We quickly walked to the chamber where hyunjin will give birth and we saw few midwives walking to  the chamber, it was like a army of midwives

"The dowager queen takes it very serious" I thought

When we arrived at the chamber, I knocked the door and the door got opened and I saw a midwife standing

"Jaehaera, come quick" the woman said and she pulled me inside and she closed the door behind her

"Wait king then-"

"The king needs your help" The midwive said and we walked to thr king and I heard him grunting, breathing and moaning

I saw him laying on the bed and Katherine sat beside him on the bed, she was dapping his head with a cloth

I walked to the bed and I sat down beside him and I grabbed his hand, he looked at us with with worried eyes

I quietly started to pray to mother for a safe and quick delivery

Chan's pov

I walked to back and forth in front of birthing chamber and my hands went through my hair like what if he doesn't survive this or the baby doesn't survive this, it will both break us

"Son?" I heard my mother asking and I saw her standing with something in her hands

"Please tell  me He will survive this" I said with tears in the corner of my eyes and my mother walked to me and she hugged me

"Hyunjin is strong and the mother will watch over him this difficult yet wonderful time" My mother said and she pulled away and she put a hand on my cheek

"What if the child doesn't survive?" I asked her and my mother sighed

"Then history would return" I thought and I remembered what happened to my mother and Hyunjin's mother, they both lost their children

"It won't" she said serious

After few seconds

I walked back to the forth in the front of the birthing chamber waiting for good news and what I only could hear was screams, cries and moans

My mother gave me a wooden tiny figurine of the mother so I could pray to it and bit play with it

"Please please" I whispered and I looked at the figurine

"Please save my husband and our child. I can't lose them both" I whispered and I stopped with walking because I heard some other screams

Screams of joy and a baby crying?

A baby!?

I looked at the door and it suddenly got opened and I saw a midwife standing

"Your grace-"

"How is he?" I asked her and she looked at me with a smile

"Your husband, Hyunjin gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl" I brightly smiled when I heard Hyunjin gave a birth to a girl

"We have a daughter!" I shouted from inside my head

I walked inside of the chamber and I saw the midwives smiling and I saw him holding our newborn daughter and he was smiling and playing with her

I walked to them and I saw Katherine comforting Jaehaera who was crying on her shoulder

Then Hyunjin looked at me with a smile and I sat beside him on the bed and I looked at our baby girl
I can tell who she resembles most

"Do you want to hold her?" Hyunjin said and a bit weak and sweating and I nodded. Hyunjin placed our baby girl in my arms and I smiled

I kissed Hyunjin's head

"I'm so proud of you" I whispered

"Your graces, do you have a name for the princess" the midwife asked and I looked at Hyunjin who looked at me

"Rhaella" He said with a smile

"Awh little princess Rhaella" I heard them saying

"I love you so much" I whispered and kissed his head

Then I saw my mother walking inside of the room and she brightly smiled

"A girl!" She said with a joy and we smiled

"May I hold her?" She asked us and we nodded. I got off the bed and I placed Rhaella in my mother's arms and she smiled

"Rhaella was her name?" She asked Hyunjin and he nodded

"It's a unique name" She smiled

Hyunjin's pov

Chan's mother was playing with our newborn daughter, Rhaella
I named her after a moon goddess that my mother and I worship, she was also the Goddess of childbirth and protector of infants and children
