Y/n's pov

"Okay bye then." So-hee and some other batchmates of mine waved me their farewell for today as they all got into one cab. They offered to drop me but it was me who denied because...you know I just don't want anyone else to know where I live and that I am married or whatever.

I waited for my cab when instead of my cab came jungkook's mercedes.
I was shocked but maybe happy for not having to wait for my cab.
He rolled the window down and said "Didn't I ask you to call me to come and pick you up?"

"It's just 4 jungkook! You return by seven. How can I interrupt you working-" before I could complete he cut my sentence saying "Just hop in"
I did as I was asked but anyways continued "Yeah! You don't have to act like a driver to me. You get that? I'll manage from tomorrow."

He never gave me another stare and said "I pretend to un-hear that"
My eyes widened as I realised what did he just say and raised my voice "No you can't come everyday, I don't want people to get any idea of-" I paused when I realised what I was about to say.

I felt his sharp gaze on me, when I caught his eyes at me...I found them...hurt. I gulped hard and seeing me he said "You don't want people to get any idea of us being married,I get that."

I felt worse when he ended his sentence with a smile not reaching his eyes and not revealing his bunny like teeth. "Jung-jungkook I- look I don't want to drag things but-"

Just say it just say it just say it!

This is just the right time! He shouldn't keep his hopes up! Especially with me!

"You can continue. I am all ears." He said never looking back into my eyes and focusing on the road.
I bite my lower lip for two seconds thinking WE DON'T EVEN KNOW EACHOTHER PROPERLY.

"I love someone." I stated without looking at his direction. My eyes were fixated on the road before me, I never sensed any movement from his side either.
"Why aren't you saying anything?" I urged to which he released a chuckle and turned his head towards me saying "It's alright I guess."

"Alright?" I asked to which he nodded and said "Marrying someone never makes you fall in love with them." He then turned his head to focus back on the road.
"Do you still seek his love?" He asked to which I replied with a mock "Still seek? He does love me. STILL and also he's waiting for me because he believes me. I know he does."

"I see." He had a smile of victory on his face when he said that and I wonder what was that for.

"So I just-" before I could continue he cuts me off saying "Before you give me the details of your so called lover. Let me be very clear y/n, my behaviour with you is not going to change in anyways."

"You-"

"Because you are my wife and looking after you is my responsibility." He added making me shut up, I tried to answer that with a "I can look after myself."

"I know but...I don't care." He said as turned his head to look at me with that ugly smirk hanging on his face. He also said "also y/n,I am sure that your lover will not have to wait long to get THE LOVE OF HIS life ." then his smirk turned into a full smile.

I should've been happy or relieved at that sentence of his but something... something about his smile was very disturbing and something about it screamed... displeasure. I found myself jerk forward when he paused the car with a harsh break.

"Are you okay?" He asked to which I replied with an "I- i- yeah..." I paused as I looked down and somehow after what he said I was not able to look back into his eyes.

I waited until he said "Y/n, we reached." and that was the moment I realised why did he actually pressed the break.
"O-oh yeah. Thanks." I said and quickly got off the car.

When I was about to shut the door he said "I'll be late today, have your dinner okay."
"You are going back to office?" I asked as shut the door to which he nodded and pipped "and this will continue as a daily routine."

I was about say something when rolled his windows up making me shut before I could even start.

I was walking back and forth while reading my course book "ugh! Why so tough!" I cursed but then bite my tongue for cursing the book which is working like a staircase to my dream.
"Tch." I sighed continuing to study, I took my seat on the table trying to memorize the diagrams.

I checked the clock and it was already 1 a.m. in the morning "why isn't he back?"

Did he mean he'll pray for me to get back with taehyung when he said that HE'S SURE...?
I don't know but his words are disturbing me alot...and something about his statement held such an audacity and confidence that it is forcing me to think things which is unhealthy for mines and taehyung's relationship.

Taehyung will...come back to me right?

He will...he has to.

I heard the screeching of jungkook's tires, I got up to take a look at him. I just took a peak from my window, never actually making myself visible to him. I found him walking unstably, he had his coat in his hand, with his shirt half opened from above, he was all sweaty with wet hairs and from the second floor I could say that he looked hurt. As if he had a fight with someone.

I gulped as I realised how serious and dangerous he looked, I was not able to get his full frame from this side as he moved away from my way. That forced me to move to my balcony to see him and finally after looking at his face I sighed in relief finding his face was just as perfect as before- uh I mean- He was fine... looking fine but yet dangerous. There was no sign of bruise on his body yet he looked as if he was exhausted and hurt. He never looked at my direction unlike yesterday's night and got inside the house.

"What must have happened?" I questioned myself when I heard loud steps ascending upstairs and soon faded with a loud shut of door.
