Jungkook's pov

Next Day

"Find him, drag him from the core of the earth but do find him! Am I clear?" I asked over the call when the reply came satisfactory making me hang the call and throw my phone harshly on the wall.

I heard a knock on the door, from the looking glass I found it was y/n's dad.
"Please sir." I replied after which he entered inside.

He took his seat beside my bed and asked "are you okay?"
I nodded with a smile asking "how are you? And how's your business?"
At that he released a low chuckle saying "I wonder what Sheila didn't see in you, young man. Thankyou so much for protecting my last breath."
He paused as he looked away trying to hide his tears.

Tough man, loves his daughters alot.

"A promise remains a promise, mr.min." I replied in a monotone.
"I was extremely angry when I got to hear about what happened to y/n, but when she told me how you saved her all my anger vanished and all that was left within me was guilt."

"No don't be-"

"I know I was the one who took a promise from you but let me take y/n back with me. You can just make things up saying she had to study back in abroad. There was no way-"

"Sir...calm down." I said finding him panicking even when he tried his best to cover his anxiety.
"Jungkook, her staying here is bad for both of you and her. I don't even know why she was attacked. It has just been less than a month of us leaving her here alone but see what all happened."

"I have sent people to investigate. We will be finding it soon if it was an attempt robbery or a planned attack." I assured to which he said "Till the time let me take her back."

"I know it's evident of you to be concerned but don't you trust me?" I questioned to which he said "I trust you jungkook, I know y/n is in strong hands but...at the same time I can't be at a guilt of hurting other's child because of mines."

I shook my head at his concern and completed "She is my wife now, she has all her rights to divorce me when she feels like it but till the time she's with me...let me act like her sheild. Please."

"I do understand now why you want to be with her...give your try as well jungkook but let me warn you...if by the end of this she still wants a divorce you will let her and forget her forever."he spoke in a monotone making me internally chuckle.

"I will." I piped.

Y/n's pov

"Dad you didn't scold jungkook did you?" I asked out of concern because I know my dad can. He smiled at me and said "I did what a father should have done."

"Dad! Didn't I tell you he saved me?" I whined like a four year old until jungkook showed up.

Oh yeah we were standing out of the hospital.

I looked at him and patted his back saying "Thankyou again, tough man. And am sorry if my over protective dad scolded you."

"Scolded? No. He didn't...but I do take your apology." He said making my parents laugh at my embarassment.
I am rather more curious than embarassed because....what else did they talk about?

"Let's go." I said when both dad and jungkook stood each beside me making me look at both of them.
"Let's go?" I said again to which dad said "You are coming with us right?"

"No, she will go with me. You both landed just this morning, you need rest." Jungkook assured dad as he showed me the way back to his mercedes.

"She will go with us. Let's go y/n." Dad took my palm where jungkook just gave him a shocked expression saying "didn't you permit me to take her-"

"Till the time we are still in Korea, y/n will stay with us." Dad interrupted making my eyes widened and shake my head.

"But that's not fair-"

"Oh it is." Dad spilled glaring at jungkook.

"Dad. Jungkook. Stop. We are at a hospital" I slapped my forehead trying to stop both of them from bickering. I looked at jungkook who seemed restless and tired, he needs care.

"Why don't you both let y/n decide?" Mom suggested making both of the men glare at me with high hopes. I can't shatter any of those I breathed in a lot of air before saying "I'll go wi
to my parents...along with jungkook."

"Haha! I won!" Dad clapped out of excitement.
"No, mr.min, you didn't hear her full sentence. She asked me to come along." Jungkook smirked at my dad making give him a gritting smile.

"I am sorry but-" I was interrupted by jungkook who assured me with his sentence "Dad's come first. I do get that but you still thought of me and brought me with you. I am satisfied."

I smiled at his working figure asking "Is your coconut okay?"
"Coconut?" He questioned looking away from his laptop at me.

I gasped at his sudden stare but anyways replied "Yes your head is no less than a coconut, I thought the stalker broke your head but since you are working just fine I guess your head is fine as well. Strong coconut."

"Should I take it as a compliment or an insult?" He asked as he returned his attention back to his laptop.
"Whatever you wish." I replied to which he remained silent as continued to focus on his work.

I have no idea why I felt a sting in my heart when he ignored my sentence like that. I tried again "Mom said they'll be leaving after 3-4 days again, so we have to stay here-"

"Okay." He cuts through my sentence without looking at me. That's annoying why isn't he giving me any attention?

"What about your clothes?" I asked to which he said "I'll manage." Dry and cold reply...I am not used to such dry and cold replies especially from him.

Probably work on jungkook is different from the work off jungkook.

I released a heave,smiling at the end when I found how focused he was in his work. Even I have to study, yes.

"I'll call you when lunch is ready." I said as I left his room and shut the door.
