Looking at Tamika sleeping almost like a led, I smile to my self then move to the bathroom to start getting ready.
My flight is at 2 p.m., but I need to see Twinkle first. The fact that Mona is in Clarendon and I was not notified annoys me and mi definitely ago cuss.
But.... that a nuh your thing no more..
It nuh matter, she know mi need fi know things like this, Don or pillow it nuh matter.
Searching the cabinet for my toothbrush I silently hiss when I didn't come across it.
"Tamika torment ino.. swear"
The thing did a bother her? No.
Moving to her side of the bathroom, I search around for a little but still can't find it, so this time I hiss louder.
I step out the bathroom and go to her, then check the time.
She should be up anyway.
"Tamika? It's almost nine," I shake her and she swats my hand away.
"Leave me alone, I'm not going.." she groans.
Every morning thing.
"Which part you put mi toothbrush?" I question and she hiss.
"Yuh never pack it up yesterday mad man? Why yah talk to mi suh early?" She turns on her other side while adjusting the pillow.
Rass.. mi nay memba that.
I chuckle then scratch my head and leave to go back to the bathroom to see if I can find one of the regular ones to use now.

9:00 a.m.
"Mi would a come for real ino, but I really don't have the energy plus Kiara and.."
"Babe...it's alright, you done explain this to me already," I cut her off then open our room door.
That's when I realize there's actual noise in the house.
The sound of Kiara screaming and singing a theme song from a cartoon with a bug woman and a boy dressed as a cat resonates in my ears, as does the sound of Aunt Bev rattling the pots in the kitchen.
"Dem realize it still early?" I turn to Tamika and ask, only to see her singing the theme song too.
Aawh..boi.
"It's not normally this noisy in here so this is practice for when Tamiko comes.." when she says that I glare at her and she laughs then push pass me.
Try mii Tamika.. try mi.
"See how yuh fava tomato Ina tha red nightie deh.. gwan yerr" I tell her then close the door after pulling my suitcase out.
