"Thank you," I say, pouting my lips.
An hour ago, I got the urge to eat jerk chicken and I didn't want to call Dominic because he's busy.
So when I told Bev I'm literally tasting it, she said she'll get it for me and the sweetest part about it is, the place I normally get jerk chicken in May pen got relocated and I didn't know where to, so we had to ask for directions from passerby's.
Literally went out her way to get it.

"Aunty, I feel like you just saved my life," I say as I eat the food, relishing in all the flavors.
