I stirred awake, the moment I regained concious a shark pain rushed through my core but was instantly soothed by someone rubbing a cream on the back on my legs where Enzo stuck me.

"Good morning, Donna." She spoke, a soft smile evident on her face — there that word was again 'Donna' I remember the pilot called me that same thing.

"I...Good morning," I replied, removing my leg from her grip only for her to pull it back into her embrace and apply more cream to my calves.

"I can do it myself."

She shook her head, "No ma'am, its my job."

The woman had a soft motherly nature, she reminded me of my mom. So I broke my wall's down and allowed her to rub the ointment on my wounds, which were now bruising.

"Enzo...did he tell you to do this?" I muttered.

"Yes, he was very worried for you when you were unresponsive."

"He's the reason I was put in that position." I scoffed.

"He wouldn't have had to do that if you obeyed him."

I pulled my leg away from her, "You don't know half of it! He kidnapped me and wants me to marry him!"

"Do you..." I started to speak but paused knowing I'd regret my words later, this woman was no doubt loyal to Enzo still it was better to leave no rock unturned.

"Do you know a way for me to escape?"

She gasped at my words, "You shouldn't think about that!"

"So do you?" I spoke, pressing the matter.

Still, she decided to maintain her stance of not helping me, "I know its unbearable right now, but if you're obedient he'll treat you like a queen."

"You wouldn't be able to escape anyways...he has connections everywhere and would bring you back to his as fast as you left."

I sighed in defeat but decided to not push the topic anymore. Moments later Enzo barged into the room, "You're dismissed, Isla." He spoke.

The woman, Isla, turned to him and bowed, "I haven't finished tending to her wounds yet."

"I'll finish for you," Enzo spoke, grabbing the cream from her hand. Isla bowed to the both of us the quickly exited the room.

Enzo walked towards me and took my leg into his grip, "I'm fine." I spoke attempting to take my leg from his grip, which caused him to tighten his hold on my leg.

When I winced in pain he loosened his grip and gently applied the cream to my wounds, "I'm sorry."

"For what? Beating me, killing my husband, or for threatening my best friends life?"

Enzo tensed up at my words and let out a low grunt, "You're still calling him your husband, after all he's done to you."

"You chose to marry trash like him. Why wont you marry me?"
